1. mhm, funny enough, he hasn't replyed again..... I wonder why. More to topic, What was done was really not on. If someone pays you for something, you gotta deliver, otherwise its theft. And being a thief makes you a as previously stated...... a twat.
2. Exile252

G string.

Anything by Tool or Primus
3. Its on "Last Chance Disco". I really should try looking for their albums hehe.
4. If anyone here has heard this song, they will know how awsome the bassline through-out the song is. I was trying to learn to play it, but I can't find anything that helps me. Any of you guys know how to play it? Any help is appreciated.
5. North Wales is a pretty Warwick free zone. Warrington might have some, and same with Manchester. By the way, spend as little time in Holyhead as possible, I lived there (now in uni), and it shreds your mind like paper through a paper shredder....... Or maybe I'm thinking way too much into this.......
6. I have my string getting higher the lower they go. If I put my B any lower it was buzz like mad. Also, they all have the same distant relevant to the size of the string to the fret board.
7. Argh!!! Thats the Stingray I've wanted since playing one in PMT in Leeds. Why do I have to be poor now!!! It looks so nice. And plays so nice aswell.
8. I'd really like a Sub. But I was given the SAS and I'd feel like a cheeky git if I swapped it hehe.
9. Rush would always be good, also a bit of Primus.
10. I was thinking, the only Jazz song I really enjoyed listening to was a Jazz cover of Smells Like Teen Spirit. They had the improvising sections, but they also had a base to which they were working from, and didn't go off on weird solo tangents like they were not listening to the rest of the band.
11.
Many moons ago, I studied Jazz at college on a 2 year course, but no means an expert but I'm aware of the different genres. But this to me is jazz. The test is how much can you watch? (if you make it to 6 mins what the French Connection UK is going on?)
hehe, it was going alright (well not enough to make me stop it) untill the 1 minute mark where everyone, except one of the sac players decides to stop, causes the drummer to go completely off and the guitarist starts making up random chords, which sounded quite like cats being run over by cars.
12. Not sure what to make of that bass. But a Bongo isn't the worst looking bass ever .
13. I'm not a big Jazz fan. Just because I tend to think their trying too hard to be impressive, as if it isn't what they best at, but doing it because they think they should. I may get flamed for that comment. Even though I do agree that it takes some skill to play Jazz with a band, and do what you do whilst everyone else is doing what they do.
14. The fish.... with 18 posts left I cry......
15. Nah, its the red version. Looks lovely and plays great hehe.
16. Funny enough, I have a SAS36FM hehe. But even as much as I want a SUB, I wouldn't wanna get rid of me guitar hehe. But have a bump
17. I've got a Trace which is a few years old not entirely sure how old it is. But I've tired the latest version at a guitar shop. The sound on the new one is alot clearer, but at the same time it lacks character imo. I sounds too clear if ya get me. Though they do have a very large selection of sounds on the new Traces, which helps if you got lot of different basses. I'd try both to see which one you click with the most.
18. Oh.... So what bass did the body come from lol. Because it looks fantastic.
19. Why dont I have £650 right now Oh yeah, I'm a student....... Bah! So is this bass, or was this bass a proper Stingray?
20.
The generalisations thus far are ridiculous ones, to say a metal bassist only wants a Warwick purely because of the "War" part of the name is just childish and extremely narrowminded, and to openly say anybody who listens to metal and/or plays a Warwick has no taste is just plain pompous.
You do know I was joking about that, I guess I needed to mention this as you took it extremely personally, as if your the owner of the Warwick company. Quite narrowminded to think I was saying that and wasn't joking. And yes, I play metal. And I'm really quite annoyed at your previous comments.
21. Maybe metal bands just think Warwicks are overly metal, they do have "War" in their name after all. I'd rather use a stingray or Jazz tbh. Feel much better than a Warwick. Alot of popular metal bands use them, or basses with similar shapes.
22. Both make fantastic fretboards imo. In fact, my Jazz has a Pao Ferro, and it very nice, quite a soft wood. Where as the Ebony is rock solid. Though, I recently played a fantastic fretless at a guitar shop in Leeds, I didn't reconise the name of the bass, but boy was it nice. I think it had a Pao Ferro neck and fretboard. And normally I dislike basses with the same wood for both neck and fretboard, but this was lovely.
