1. Thanks for posting that, its actually really helped haha, I actually understand which keys are which along with the scales. Thanks man.
2. Ah yes......your right...... Why did I think it was a Sterling
3. Has this been sold yet? If it hasn't I'd be very surprised, best looking Sterling I've ever seen, have a bump.
4. Wow that is a nice bass if I say so myself. Loving the wood finish. Have a bump on me.
5. If I could I'd sell all my gear to buy that bass haha. Too bad no one would buy it haha. But have a bump on me.
6. Hello guys! Decided to sell my Dean, as I hardly play it, if all. Theres a few bits of superficial damage, nothing that hampers the sound. Here are some pics. Forgot to ask for a price. I'm looking for £120 Thanks
7. Mainly looking for a sale lol, trying to save up £700ish lols. But thanks for the interest.
8. Yes, it is a midnight wine . Lovely colour, only problem is it shows up finger prints haha, but then again, that happens with any dark colour bass.
9. Thanks for that, I was planning to stick new pick-ups in, but due to lack of funds, I was unable. And now I'm focusing on my Pbass copy which I'm modding.
10. Tried one before, wasn't that impressed tbh, didn't play it through an amp. The bass itself felt a bit sluggish.
11. This week, starting from today, Tower Of Power, just downloaded afew of their songs, and damn thats funky!
12. Hey guys, I've been thinking long and hard about this, and GAS keeps kicking me when I'm down hehe. So I'm just putting a feeler for my Fender. Its about 1 year and 2 months old. Nothing wrong with it at all, in fact still looks like new. This bass was bought for £400 in April 2007, so I was thinking of going for £250. Though, I might be happy looking at trades for around the same price range. Thanks guys. ps. If you like the look of the two guitars in the background just say lol. I have too many instruments, and quite frankly I don't need them all. Going to uni and only bringing one bass and my amp.
13. Hey, I'm kinda liking the look of this bass, are you able to get any higher quality pics up on here. I've searched on the net and couldn't find any. thanks
14. Yeah, I had a look when I was in a music shop last week, but they were £10 more than on the net. They're really soft, perfect for a fretless also they give the bass less attack but more warm bassy sounds
15. I've just defretted my P-copy, for the same reasons as you basically. I'm looking to buy some Rotosound Tru Bass strings, they're flatwounds in black nylon. From the site I'm planning to get them from their £21.50 or something like that. This is the site http://www.stringsdirect.co.uk/.
16. I have a bad habit where if I'm sitting down and playing, I rest my wrist over my bass, which in turn cuts of blood and then I get lots of hand cramp hehe.
17. They all have rosewood fretboards, infact I've never owned an instrument with-out a rosewood fretboard. Just found this slightly odd hehe. Anyone else done this type of thing without thinking?
18. Liking his rig, I want that Trace hehe. Does he take alot of drugs though, just wondering?
19. I dunno why but I actually like the sound of my fan in the amp, it sounds really subtle, crazy huh?
20. I didn't notice there way a fan noise on my amp till right now. But the Trace I have is extremely quiet, which next to my PC or 360 is barely noticeable as the other two are very very loud.
21.
I used to have one. Lovely feeling bass to play & excellent quality as well. Only complaint I had was the lack of output. Pickups are cheap these days, though
This is true, and is also the reason I'm hoping to put new ones on mine
22. My girlfriend says she loves people playing music, but doesn't seem 100% interested in me playing bass. She bizarrely preferred the brass and sax on "Come On, Come Over" instead of the bass :S, I don't understand that at all, same when I stick on some James Brown. Though she didn't seem too happy that I was working on my bass instead of spending time with her, which is quite understandable.
23. Hehe, buggered up the colour, managed to push the paint :S. So I've re-primered the entire bass and front of the headstock and now they are drying. So I'm gonna sand them down tomorrow and apply the first coat of gold
