  1. Yeah, it's a shame they don't seem to do it anymore. It's a real head turner!
  2. I really didn't want to have to do this, but with the recent increase in living costs I'm having to say goodbye to my Fender MIM Jazz V bass. It's a 2008 (I think) model, I've owned it from new and it's never been gigged with. It's in a lovely midnight wine red, the pictures really do not do it justice. The tuners are gotoh and keep in tune amazingly well. There's a couple of minor blemishes on the body (see pics). I know the MIM basses are now quite popular and this is a great example of why they are. I'm gutted to see it go, hopefully it can be a great bass for one of you lucky guys/girls. Thanks
  3. Just fancy a change really. Nothing against the cab, it's really nice.
  4. Oof thats one nice cab! If I can sell my current cab, I would defo be inclined!
  5. Cheers for the info guys. So if I'm correct in thinking, all will happen is it won't be as loud as if I used a 400w head?
  6. I'm thinking about changing my cab on my amp set up, but I'm a bit uncertain as to what to go for. I have a Mark Bass Little Mark 250 Black Line (250w) hooked up to a Eden EX112 cab (300w). I'd like to go for a Mark Bass cab, however all the cabs they make are rated at 400w. Would that be too big a gap between my 250w head unit and the cab? Thanks
  7. I've recently bought a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 to start recording songs with a friend. I was getting a lot of electrical buzz from the rest of my computer when going from bass to interface via a jack cable, so I swapped to an XLR cable out of the back of my amp head. Now it all sounds really muffed and seems to have reverb on it. When I'm actually playing it sounds fine, bright and clear, but it's not translated to the actual recording. Does anyone know what could be happening here? Or anyway to fix it? Also could anyone give me some advice on shielding the interface so it doesn't get the electrical interference. Thanks guys!!
  8. Its so rare you ever see a MVP for sale. Man, I wish I could win the lottery! GLWTS!
  9. I was litterally just telling my friend how hard the MXR M80s are to come by! I used to own one and regret selling it. Coincidentally, the back also fell off mine too. Infact... PMed
  10. Are you able to re-upload the pictures?
  11. Hi is this still available and do you know if it would fit onto a MIM Jazz Bass? Thanks
  12. Whats the tuning on the B string set to with the hipshot? Does it go down to F#?
  13. Thanks for the extra pic. Are you look at any trades? Thanks
  14. Hi there, nice looking bass! Do you have any pictures of the back? I'm guessing this is passive?
  15. This my friend... is one insanely sexy bass
  16. Nice looking bass! What's the sticker on the bridge pickup?
  17. I used to have one of these! They are bloody fantastic!! I haven't actually seen one for sale in such a long time. I need money
  18. Unfortunately the only thing I could offer would be my Fender Jazz V MIM, and I feel that would be a big step down for you!
  19. Oh man, this is beautiful! I'm not normally a fan of maple fretboards on basses, but I'm making an exception for this beauty! I hope this sells soon for you, so I can stop gawping at it
  20. So there's not actually much different in the instruments themselves?
  21. Afternoon everyone I've recently got back into playing bass (and music in general), and noticed the Fender MIM series has been replaced by the Players series. However the costs have skyrocketed! I have a MIM Jazz V from 2007 (when they had the 5 tuners all on one side of the headstock), and was wondering whats the difference in the player series that has caused them to jump up by around £300. Thanks guys
