  1. I love Morrissey. Always will. The Smiths were such a pivotal part of my navigation through the 80s as a teenager.. I don't agree with his old fashioned political views at all, which are much the same as most of my elder family members unfortunately, but no love lost there either. As for The Simpsons.. "Hamburgers are Homicide"!! Come on, that's hilarious!! πŸ‘
  2. I'm sure it will now. GLWTS ✌️
  3. It's not a dull discussion point if someone ends up disappointed by their purchase. I'm just trying to save you a headache later on too. My intentions are well meant friend.. The MIM Classic 50s Lacquer Precision was only offered in Black and White Blonde finishes. Fact. They were more expensive than the regular MIM Classic 50s Precisions that had a polyurethane finish, which were available in 2 tone Sunburst (the bass you have for sale), Fiesta Red and Honey Blonde. I'm not Mexican, just well informed. πŸ˜‰
  4. Lovely bass, but these had a poly finish not nitro mate.
  5. Best: After a gibbering frenzy of basses in and out this year which reached it's crescendo with the acquisition of a rare lightweight 1991 Stingray 5, I now have my "Excalibur". Worst: I bought a used MacBook and a Focusrite interface to finally get into the world of home creations. They are probably great but I haven't had time to even turn them on yet. An additional expense I could do without right now but at least they're there for when I do! Plans for 2021: Total gear abstinence (don't laugh) and begin to get involved with the monthly composition fun and games on here. Lessons learned: Playing all the time keeps the GAS voices quiet!
  6. I sent one on Monday arrived Tuesday fine. Interparcel premium via UPS.

How are you finding the Ditto X2 @ped? I'm thinking of getting one and I don't want anything complicated. Would be nice to have someone to jam with, even if it's me πŸ˜„ Pros and cons?
  8. "I just loved your bass, I could feel it inside my pus*y.." This was actually said to me during a load out once. A very pretty yet hammered girl. I was stone cold sober (driving) and honestly didn't know which way to look or what to say other than "thanks" I'm alright at playing rock n roll, always been crap at being it!
  9. £700 posted Really really properly last time price drop ☺️
  10. Sinead O'Brien. She's my favourite new artist. It's almost like she's the Irish granddaughter of The Fall πŸ‘Œ
  11. "SCHTEPP IN TOIME!! SCHTEPP IN TOIME!!" 🀣🀣 But I wouldn't have it any other way though. Loved MP as a kid as my kids do now.
  12. I suggest this too. I'm only halfway through but it's proving to be a very nice surprise.
  13. Β£750 posted Last price drop.
  14. Looks interesting. From the title I expected to see one of these..
  15. Yes it is really, the serial number is 2000 and something.. It feels like a 'Bass Birth Year Bass' actually as I began learning/playing bass in '91 ☺️
  16. Thanks for all the input guys. I ended up with a 1991 Stingray 5 which I'm over the moon with. A rare lightweight one with a lovely Birdseye maple neck 😍 Crap picture but here it is..
  17. King Kong - The Mothers Of Invention
  18. I've still got the original HB strings on mine, about 5 years old now! Still sounds ace. I bought some Dunlop flats for it but I'm afraid to put them on in case I kill the mojo πŸ˜„
  19. Thanks πŸ™‚ I'm not sure exactly but it's not a heavyweight. I'd say between 7.5lbs and 8lbs but I'll try to find out exactly later.
  20. Eastwood EEB-1, excellent condition. An incredibly fun and easy bass to play. It's simply vol/tone and a great sounding humbucker which is very responsive to where on the bass you place your picking hand. The tone I would describe as in the woody P bass ballpark. Comes with a fresh set of GHS Flea Bass Boomers, shipped safely in a well padded Ritter gig bag. Reduced to Β£440
  21. Here is a gem of a highly regarded E series (1984-87) Precision. It is basically NOS (new old stock) with 3 very unfortunate blemishes that occurred during shipment from Japan to me. It plays and sounds blooming marvelous as a quality P bass should. Real deal. It's a basically a new bass from a great period for Fender Japan and comes with it's original hang tags, Manual, lead and gig bag too! The body is Basswood and the rosewood fingerboard is gorgeous, nice and dark. It weighs 8.7lbs so very comfortable to play on a strap. A very easy to play bass period. The nut width is 1.625" , making this a 'B' width neck. I've only played it a bit in the house and I was going to keep it for future recordings but I've just bought a Stingray 5 so I have to pass it on to someone else unfortunately. The photos I've used are from the original ad because they are of much better quality than I can do, and it looks the same apart from said blemishes/dinks (which I have photographed.) I will post it in a nearly new Armourdillo hardcase with all the original tags, case etc.. Β£850 in person or Β£880 posted (UK mainland that is. I will ship elsewhere with the buyer paying for the extra postage.) Thanks for looking.
