I know the feeling - PsychoAndy sold his Spitfire on here recently and I really, really wanted it but just could not find the funds. Still kicking myself now!!
And I still miss her, she was almost as cute as "The Angel" but had the correct amount of strings!
2. I have one of these, great basses, it h=gets more use than my Sadowsky Jazz.
3. Is £3k too much for a (refinished in the 70's)-- 1963 Jazz? everything else original.
4. Thanks for varying advice, which is I guess what I expected. So what then for a compact powerful easy transportable system, for a covers band. up to about £750?
5. We are looking at a new PA and I wondered if any body had tried this stuff?

This one: Who ended up with it when it was for sale?
'Twas Thunderthumbs, don't remind me and don't put more pictures up please, its upsetting, Thunder himself has sensitively not put her in the porn thread I don't think.
13.
Jesus
Ped don't add a religious edge to this sensitive thread please!
14.

That will do nicely, Sadowsky right up my street. Get back on track guys! My wish bass FWIW http://www.sadowsky.com/stock/view/5403.html
15. Can we have a picture of a nice bass sometime soon folks?
16. Been looking for a decent compressor. And came across a Focusrite preamp with optical compressor in the effects forum. Figuring, set Sadowskys at passive, utilise the apparantly impressive preamp and compressor and feed to the LM11. Tube sound and other knobs available aswell! Does that sound feasable? Lots of nice flashy leds aswell! http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=74741
17. Great basses, wouldn't be without mine. Bump for yer!
18. Lots of new kit but this caught my eye! http://www.markbass.it/products.php?lingua...=2&vedi=142
19.
Hi Andy, I can't really give you advice about trading your LM as I've never used them. I have an EBS TD650 with a built in compressor and I used to have the Multicomp pedal before I bought the amp. It's a great pedal. In your position, I'd be after the Multicomp. They generally go for around £80 on here which is a fair price. I bought mine brand new and paid about £120+ for it. By the way, did you get my PM about the Spitfire photo? Cheers, Pete.
Yup I did I sent u several. whats ur email and ill send em again.
20. been looking for a decent Compressor lately and nothing much about. Is the built in one on the EBS heads any good and worth trading my LM11 for?
21. Kylies round mine next week Beedy. Want an invite? cant believe u moved that '69 jazz on!
22. I had £205 on the tip of my fingers and didnt, i loved my MB 15s but two in 1 box would surely feck my shoulder.
23. 2x15 went for £200 on ebay, was tempted but just too heavy but a huge bargain for someone here i guess. 800watts of MB loveliness.
