5.
Lovely bass mate! Are U open for trades also or just a straight sale? F.
I'm open to trades as long as I can pass em on quickly, I have just resigned from my job (hence the sale of this and my Sadowsky recently) so I need the cash for the interim.
6. Yep it's 42 mm for all those that asked, just measured it.
7. I'm having to sell one of my investment basses sooner than I wanted. Superb and original USA 1973 Precision Bass*. Pups are dated 73 & 74. Comes with bridge and pup cover, bridge cover still has foam mute. Nicely lightly mojoed. Truss works fine, and bass has had a full service. Comes with non original but very old tatty hard case. (the covers are not fixed in the pics as the screws are missing) Usual split in scratch plate above the jack socket. I believe this to be an early 1973, it has the longer bridge screw on the G string which would indicate early 1973. Comes with original Fender Owners Manual. Serial number is 500*** * The only thing that may not be original is the volume pot, It's bigger than the tone pot, it may be original but I'm not sure. Other than that she's an old honest Precision. The sound is all you would expect, she has a large output, honky and fat, the neck is superb and plays evenly with no dead spots at all. She weighs spot on 9lbs with the covers off. There is no wear on the rear of the neck bar some light wear on the lower edge of the neck below the G string. There is a little fret wear up to about the third fret but loads of life left. Price is £1800 plus shipping. NOW £1699 Plus Shipping. No Paypal.

16. Thanks for the constructive critique! We realise our limitations and we need to improve. Valerie fyi was loosley based on the Zutons version rather than the Amy Winehouse version and goes down great. Personally I think we sound better live as we get great interaction from the punters usually, especially with Denise out front. Recording wise we basically had about 7 hours to get stuff down and mix it I think we should have tried less songs and given more time to the final mix and error correcting, but that was all the time we could afford at the studio. Still we seem to get enough good profile gigs and at the end of the day we enjoy it.
17. Sorry guys didn't get home from gig till 2.30 am will answer pms asap.
18. Sadly I need to sell this for personal reasons. Jazz width neck. Almost mint, no dings or anything, great sounding bass with VTC, great thumping P Sound, all you would expect. Price is £999 Post £20 comes with usual Sadowsky semi hard case.
19. Very Good price, this would fly out if it was 8ohm I guess.
20.
Well then you're a very naughty boy. Fat lot of good that is. Damn. Never mind. Share your thoughts anyway... I'm used to an Ashdown MAG410 cab, warm and loud and full. Play upright bass through it. I really was astonished at the output of the Markbass CMD121P, only wanting a little more bottom oomph, and of course the option to get the full 500W through a second 8ohm cab. I actually hooked it to the Ashdown 410 last night, and my what a noise. Loved it, and the clarity and transparency of the amp. The 121 had a tendency to mid range for me, but I was able to EQ it out. And I heard every note all night, which isn't a given when you play upright. Very tempted by the Traveller 102, light as anything. But worried it'll lack the oomph I want, what with rear port and light weight. That's why I've been thinking Standard 102HF instead. Anyone any experience of how much extra the Standard gives over the Traveller? Or indeed if they're both a bit thin on the bottom, and I should go for a heavyweight Ashdown if I want that sound.
I have one of each and yes obviously the 102hf has considerably more low end, at larger gigs i use em both, at pub gigs i just take the hf, its a great combination to have imho, tho i wouldnt mind another 102 hf single ported 8 ohmer at some time. I got it used from bass direct for a very reasonable price the trav cab was a snip on ebay, one of those wrongly described bargains!!!!!
