1. Pretty near mint Warwick Streamer Stage 2. 5 String, with mother of pearl Yin Yang position markers and Warwick aluminium flight case. Through neck, Stacked volume & pickup pan and active 3 band EQ. Just two tiny dings on the back, front is mint, tiny bit of tarnish to the bridge and string anchor, but nothing much really. Comes with the Warwick aluminium flight case in great condition, full instructions and warranty card plus the Warwick truss rod tool. This was made in November 2003. Afzelia body, Ovangkol neck. Sounds huge! £1295 Shipped. (these are close on £3k new) Trades: Sadowsky NYC Jazz 4. Rickenbacker. Try me.
2.
Realise it's not a little cash...so it's a, "if £2K is too much but i really want it but I only have... and I could trade this...." type of BUMP... Frozen pipe & Central heating sorted... fire close to working... Bill due type anxiety forces meek mannered fat man to sell his soul type provocation.... (that said this is NOT a cheap instrument.....) Just remember...a PM in the mail is worth the chance of a 'don't be ridiculous' reply in the scheme of things...
Stop it!
3. Vintage 1970's used hard case. Great for your vintage Fender Jazz or Precision. Some wear and tear, to the outer edges and the crimson lining as pictured and the retainer strap has broken, (stops the lid opening all the way) and been removed. All catches work fully, but no key. The sticker is removable, there is evidence of other stickers that have been removed, but still a nice clean vintage case. Great solid period case. £45 shipped.
4. Now Sold and left the building. Apologies to all that were interested.
5.
Does the lead still have its original crackles? I'm not fussed if it's lost its hum, but without the crackles it's useless to me. Serious question: What does this bass weigh?
Oh yes the cable has more hum than crackle, as good as ur guitarist single coils! And she weighs just 8.6 lbs.
6. Well, there are obviously more expert folk on here than me and I bow to their knowledge, but just include a pic of the whole body just to confirm there has been no extra routing or the like to accommodate the pickup, be that pickup original or not. Bonus inclusion original 70's curly lead (remember them) included free!
7.
Very nice - I've got one of these - in very ruff condition, awaiting a tart-up. FYI that's not the original pickup but is an immense upgrade - mine has one of the little chrome single-coil jobs which look identical to the ones used in the neck position on a Telecaster! Yours looks a lot like a DiMarzio Model One to me. Jon.
I beg to differ, this has Schaller stamped on the back and a sticker, and the original rout is original and untampered with as is the pick guard, perhaps this was a deluxe version!
8. To answer a pm the split coil switch is original, unless otherwise informed!
9. Great condition Maya Bass from I believe the mid 70's. Made in Japan. 40mm P size neck but nicely shallow so not too chunky. Really good condition as you can see, one or two minor scrapes, and a little buckle rash on the back. Looks all original including the MM type pickup, no extra routs, pickup appears to made in Germany by Schaller, and has a coil tap feature, all looks original. This really is in great condition, lovely tort guard. No bridge cover, pretty sure a Fender one would fit. Plays fine and thumpy, badly needs some new strings, I've oiled the neck and cleaned her up, mended a loose solder joint and all works great, neck is fine, both rear of neck and fretboard are mint. £160 plus £10 to ship, comes in gig bag not the case pictured.
10. On hold for 24 hours.
11. She has a 40mm nut as apposed to my jazz which is 38mm, very nice shallowish smooth varnish neck, hope that helps, it's a delight to play and very very light.
12. This needs to go to feed my credit card, £700.
13. I pm'ed but a stunning silence
14. Can Mr May Spell? Bump
15. David is a top bloke, don't be put off by sending stuff to Czech, I sent a Ray and all went smoothly.
16. Somebody wanted a pic of the underside of the control cover: This must have extra kudos as Chris can't spell December!
17.
Where are you based ?
Ipswich Suffolk. Sorry nowhere near any where really! but we do have electric now
18. seven point eight pounds, though i'm not quite sure if my scales mean 7 lbs 8 oz or if they mean 0.8 of a lb which is (16oz in a lb i believe) which would equate to 7lbs 12.8 ounces. either way its damn light!
19.
Will you stop mentioning that it only weighs 8lb!
To be precise 7.8 LBS
20.
Am I correct in thinking this is the one with the Bartolini pickups and pre the East electronics?
May have to take advice on that as Im not sure, all I do know is it's stock and untampered with! such a dream to play at 8lbs or so.
