4. Can't agree more about every player in every booth trying to out do the next, I'm a great slap fan, but it really got a little tiresome. The MM stand was much more civilised! perhaps if the stands were spaced out more it would help, I pity the folk manning the stands for two days. Having said that it was a most enjoyable show, GB & Status' looked and played fab as ever, GAS for a Dingwall, the build quality looked great. Smiles all round if with a slightly sore head. Thanks for the taps on the shoulders from the two BC'ers that recognised my mug!
5.
Correct. S.P.
I'm a complete novice on such matters, but if this is the case why not recommend folk use off site servers instead of the BC attachment thingy which I've never used
6. Does having ur pics on a public server like photobucket or the like mean you dont use up space here? Speak o wise people
7. Beautiful. I saw a P once with a plate attached there with a military army band insignia on it perhaps it came from an army big band or the like, thats my theory any way. Superb.
8.
Hiya, I'm in Woodbridge. +1 for the Bass Merchant. Andy
Not far from ya at Wickham Market!
9. Welcome, fellow Suffolk dweller. You do worse than visit Darren at the bass merchant in Colchester, best dedicated bass shop outside London IMHO. No six stringy things in there. Andy
10. I could never do her justice but would love her to polish!
11. To answer a question and a request for more pics: Yes this has the latest Spector "Tone Pump" module thingy. Yes this has the arched body profile. More sunny day pics: Slightly dusty shot of the head sorry, it is unmarked though. The sound is nothing short of huge, deep, dark, bright, the lot and lots of it!
12. Right £750 plus a tenner to ship. That will give the buyer something to play with if they want to get the laquer fixed or whatever. This is a cracking bass and up there with high end Warwicks et al. Andy
13.
Surprised it lasted longer than an hour.
Had to pop out! Now Sold Pending

15. January 1997 Warwick Standard fretted 4 string Corvette. Nice played condition, 1 ding on the upper edge, other than that just some play wear and tear, plus a little buckle rash on the back. Lovely colour and super neck. Passive MEC pickups. Chrome hardware (except the gold volume knob!) Plays lovely. £395 hard case pictured not included. £10 shipping.
16. Stunning Brand new transit damaged Spector. Neck through with the arched body profile. There are several laquer cracks to the body(see pictures) She has been checked out by a tech and they are superficial surface laquer cracks only. In detail: Some fine ones either side of the neck pickup. 1 very fine one below the bridge pickup (hardly noticeable) On the rear some fine ones at either end of the control cover. There is a scratch in the laquer on the top edge of the neck. Bump on lower edge behind the bridge. She plays superbly. All active electronics are perfect as is the finger board and headstock. EMG active pickups. Gold hardware. Hard case pictured not included. NOW £750(These are £1900 give or take new) or FOR TRADE ASWELL and is pretty much top of the range as far as Spectors go. If you want more pics pm me your email address. 18.
Yes, you probably are getting old. That's why you have time for others. You're doing the music world (and the young lad), a great service.
Pass the tissues! you are right, thank you.
19. I have a young lad comes round once every other week for a "bass lesson". Im not a teacher, or qualified or anything, but just love that he comes and enjoys. It's hard to remember when the notes just don't fall to hand by second nature, so it's great just to pass on some time honed & probably bad habits and techniques. The main thing is he enjoys it, and so do I. Am I getting old?
20.
Is she fit?
Ye, pics please!
