    I stopped buying them off EBay and only buy them from shops due too many copies being made. Did a gig and the E string snapped from now I know was a copy set (they went dull too). If they’re cheap there’s a reason. I’ve also gone over to the DR coated range which sound great and not copied with the wacky finishes.

    I was bidding against you up to £330! Looks great and I’ve had one before so know they sound superb. The guy who you bought it off is a real gent too I’ve bought stuff off him before and he looks after his kit.

    I found some copies of Bassist the other day with the full page ads from Electro in them, I use to dream about them Trace rigs on that page when I was young and skint. They had a choice of Wals starting from £650 and Ric’s for £450 !!

    Looks like it’s gone into liquidation, Bought many a bass related bargain from Dave back in the day. Did not feel the same after the bass stuff went downstairs.

    Me personally if I ever had the opportunity to have a career and play the venues FM have had I would play till the end. Good luck to them but I doubt they need the luck.
