  1. You’ll play a lot more if the basses are to hand I found.
  2. Pity no one was playing the drum kit to show what frequencies would disappear from the mix.

It was on Gumtree for a while, Never worth what he sold it for but the case looks quality. https://www.gumtree.com/p/guitar-instrument/buzzard-bass-custom-built/1369338248
  10. Great home practice amp with the wireless transmitter You just plug in and play. The App is great and has everything you will ever need except a pedal Wah (I think a auto Wah is on it somewhere). In fantastic condition come with original box, Manuel, P/S. Can post no problem. I’m in Chorley, Lancs. Cheers Si
  11. Stunning looking Bongo IMO the best colour Orange Pearl, In great condition and with the obligatory Ding on the headstock. Comes with a Hiscox hard case. 4 band EQ sounds quite unique and cuts through in any setting. I can post no problem and Local collection in responsible manner is quite Ok. Not looking for trades and I’m in Chorley 20 miles North of Manchester. Cheers!
  12. Got some crazy flaming going on the edges.
  13. I'm certainly going to have a go at mending the wire and it will be in keeping with Vigier look if I use them and will be cheaper too (Always helps!) I was pondering sending it off to be done but not many companies are working in these times.
  14. Fairly easy to strip but I have access to a few sanders and polishers at work, The hardest part is the paint up to the wood/ graphite bit. Thanks for the Barts tip I’ll look into them, It is a big pickup to find a replacement the only ones that came close are 5 string P/U’s. Pug type dogs are the Vigiers of the dog world 😆
  15. I'll take some tomorrow Ped, It was in a pretty bad way when I got it ,dinged everywhere and lacquer missing on the neck. Got the neck sorted out but left the body until I had time on my hands (Like now!) I stripped the finish and like all Patrice's work it a lovely bit of flame maple under the paint. Be a pity to cover it up now really, might just leave it natural colour. The P/U's had little wings to take the bolts but they had cracked around the holes so I've dremmeled new wings and stuck them on with superglue.
  16. I've got a S2 Vigier Passion I'm refinishing at the moment, Got a John East Pre amp to go in but was going to use the Benedetti P/U's . They are resin filled and one of the wires has come off flush with the resin, Is it fixable ? Could possible drill down and attempt to solder but it would be difficult. Other than that I might have to get new P/U's which would not be a hardship seeing the Benedetti one are quite noisy being S/C.

  18. I had the Evox12 and still have the RCF 745's. Much prefered the Evox 12's TBH they are a great system. If I was buying now I would seriously consider these- https://www.thomann.de/gb/db_technologies_es1002.htm Half price from the retail price from Thomann.
  19. This is terrible news, Liked him as a musician and a author. Feel for his friends and family especially his young daughter. RIP Neil.
  20. Lovely, Not many basses turn my head but Asats do.
  21. I've got one on order mostly for guitar but I'll have a go with the bass bit when I get it. Been using a Boss JS 10 for a while for guitar but sold it to my guitarist when I ordered the Spark. Looks a dream in the demo's but will report back when it arrives.
