Purchased a BF Compact from Sean, great condition, he looks after his equipment, great bloke to do business with, and a really nice guy as well. Would recommend him anytime, and he makes a good cup of tea too! Cheers Sean, have a great New Year Dude.

I had a Peavey TVX 410, Before I purchased a compact and GB Streamliner 900, loved the sound, but, played my last gig, propped against a wall, dosed up with painkillers and alcohol, after attempting to move cab on my own, from storage cupboard!

Thanks Markolinni, I will have a look at the valve asap. cheers mate

I am sure someone has posted this before, but I am at work and not a great deal of time to search, so, after contacting Fender, using same email as when I last contacted them about streamliner 900 blue lights, to ask about a perceived loss of volume on my 900, without using gain, I recieved the following reply. As I said, probably old news, but there may be a few old gits like me, who missed it!! Hi Ray, Fender is no longer supporting Genz Benz products. Genz Benz is part of KMC which is under new ownership in the USA. Please contact KMC directly for support: Chris Cretella "] KMC Music Inc. 55 Griffin Rd. South Bloomfield, CT. 06002-9005 It may be a few weeks before they can supply replacement parts so in the meantime I’d recommend taking the amp to a good technician for inspection. You may find that it can be repaired locally.

Greetings all, This may seem an odd question, but does anyone know where I can purchase a double guitar stand carry bag?. I am not sure what brand the stand is, I think its Stagg, back to back stand. I am fed up carting it around in its original cardboard box!! Thanks chaps

Excellent stuff! much obliged dude. just need to decide what to do with it! seems a waste laying under my bed for ever and a day.

I use a BF compact with my GB900 Streamliner, loud and plenty of bottom (cab not me!)
I'm using a BF Big Baby 2. It's bigger than a Midget but I find it much more "full" on its own. I had a chance to try both the BB2 and the Midget, as someone local had both cabs, and the Midget was a remarkable cab, but overall I felt the BB2 was rounder, so if the extra bulk (it's still small, just not as small) is not a problem, the BB2 is a great solution. Sounds great on its own, but with the addition of the Compact it's very nice. The Streamliner 900 with those two sounds really good.
Cheers for that Dude, much apreciated.
A few times sound guys have expressed concern about volume when I was still setting up my gear (typically in a situation where bass is backline only and perhaps another band would have just used a crappy tiny weeny bass combo on the floor, and I chose to bring two cabs to stack one upon the other... this sometimes was a 2x10 and 2x12 (TC cabs) or more recently a BF Compact plus a small 12" on top).
Dude, I am at present, running a BF compact and a GB Streamliner 900. I intend to get a midget to compliment this set up, A) when one is available at the right price, B)when I actually have the right price!! my question is, what 12" are you using with the compact? I need an extra cab, and was about to reseach what alternatives would be suitable, in place of a midget, should they become available at a price I can afford. cheers mate.

Cheers Dude, Will keep and eye on it in future, and de some basic set up practice, on an old bass I have, just in case, and to help gain confidence in doing adjustments.

Guys, Ok , I admit, I am not a brain surgeon, I am not a rocket scientist, Petes advice fixed it! end of.!Yes, I should and will get to grips with basic set ups, and have learned a lesson about leaving a bass in a bag, against the wall. Jesus, if I knew everything, I would not have asked, or done it in the first place! Consider myself severely admonished!!
-
Pete, Little bit of relief, just about a eighth of turn, job done, back normal, thanks for advice guys.

Yeh, my bad, should have said string buzz, Taxi for Ray!!!!
-
Thanks Skol, will give it a tweak tomorrow after work
-
I feel a bit of a fool asking this, however, picked up my Squier VM Jazz fretless, for the first time in months. Tuned it, had a little noodle, and the fret buzz from both the E and A strings is horrendous! It never did this before, and I am afraid that it may have been caused by leaving it in a gig bag, leaning against my bedroom wall!! any ideas welcome.

Thanks Col, I do have other feedback entries, but for some reason they have disappered!!!! Mods attempting to sort?

Did a 'mini festival' yesterday, 10am till 9pm, (not playing all the time obviously!) Up at 4.30 today for work, totally knackered. But I guess with me its a age thing!!
-
Lol, yep G, Good scheme, I have just started using a BF compact and GB 900, maybe an extra cab will not go amiss!!

Great rehearsal the other night! After a couple of years of the usual, ‘turn the bass down a bit’ syndrome, our new singer (well, he was our drummer but ‘did a Phil Collins’ and came our from behind drums to front band, says, ‘Turn the bass up! Afterwards the drummer said it was a great practice, due to being able to hear and feel the bass better. This was followed up next day by a text from singer saying, ‘ I always thought something was missing from our sound, now I know it was you!’ ‘Keep it loud! Happy days!!
