2.
You're trading an Aston Martin for an MX-5!!!
That's stretching it a little! What is it with all the Warwick bashing. They're still cracking basses, which is no doubt why this guy wants one.
 3. I'll try and get a few pics in the next couple of days. Probably be tomorrow night before I get a chance though.
 4. Would a Bongo 5 HH be of any interest? Not commiting to anything though as I'm not sure if I want to let it go, but LIFO (last in, first out) rules usually apply with me...
 5. Friday night was the second gig with my covers band (same venue as the first disaster!). First set was a blinder. Really enjoyable. Tempos were a bit high but still danceable, which is good. Second set was utter, mistake ridden, pants! No technical difficulties for the singer to hide behind this time so I'm going to rip him a new one at practise this week, although everyone needs a bit of a going over... Brain farts right, left and centre. Not impressed.

 7. Mike (house 123), Do you happen to know which pickup is in this bass, Fralin or Lakland? Do you have a case/gig bag for it? Cheers Ian

 10.
if its anywhere neer your £500 budget snap his or her hand off, they're lovely basses.
That is a nice bass for the money. I'd prefer pearl blocks if it were me. The black looks like somebody's been let loose with a marker... although that's just a personal thing.
 11. I saw Sheryl Crow playing 'favourite mistake' on a black/dark rosewood/black pearl P bass on VH1 years ago and thought it was well classy looking, but the rosewood board needs to be ebony coloured or it looks a bit odd against the brown of the rosewood. I'd go tort for rosewood and black pearl for maple...
 12. Thanks goodness for that... I kept coming back to drool over these...
 13.
my my, that is f*** ugly would still love to try it though
You know what they say... Beauty is in the eye of Noddy Holder... or something like that...
 14.
I dont get that
Are you extracting the urine?
 15. I'm just in from band practise where I was playing my Lakland JO4. Awesome bass. Never played the DJ4 but I believe it's more of a 70's vibe than the JO. I like the UV Sads too , but they couldn't twice as good as what I've already got. Saying that I've never played one... scared to!
 16. Pino hasn't played as much fretless since the early 90's. He's a pure 'P-bass with flatwounds' head now. The man's a legend! If I could steal one player's chops it'd be his... Funny this appears now, I just took to listening to all the Pino I have on my iPod yesterday!
 17.
Ahh - misinterpretation due to my poor technique of having my thumb over the top instead of up the back of the neck.
You couldn't do that on my 6 string. Aircraft carrier comes to mind, but I love it!
 18.
Surely for a thin neck you need thin/tight string spacing?
He means thin front to back (depth not width)
 19. Larry Graham... (Sly and the Family Stone, Graham Central Station, Prince) Have a look about for his instructional video. It's a good laugh - the man's totally mad! There's some good instructional stuff on youtube too. Have a look for a user called 'marlowedk'.

 21.
These look good and probably sound good as well, but where are the customers for a £3000 bass in the UK? BG, Overwater, Sei, RIM, ACG, the newly resurrecting Wal and others are already fighting over a very small customer base. The pickup is unique and flexible but didn't we discover in another thread that most of us get a sound we like then rarely change the tone controls? I wish Enfield Guitars good luck and think they'll need it starting up, as they are, on the verge of a recession.
Speaking of Wal there is quite a striking resemblance isn't there...

 23. Great bass. I had it for a short while before Russ. Really enjoyed it, but wanted a 5 string so when his RBV went on the block then this went in trade.
