  1. Did you guys ever use the link function to play with other folks?
  2. They're Tortex. Says so on them. Beyond that, dunno! Feel like 0.88mm to me...
  3. Nux Mighty Plug and bluetooth from your phone or tablet
  4. Thinning the herd I'm afraid... Drive, compressor, DI. Although it's essentially Dug Pinnick's sound in a box about the size of 2 decks of cards, it's pretty versatile. Pedal is in good condition. No original tin I'm afraid and is supplied with an aftermarket 9v supply. £200 plus postage. Edit: sorry folks, I'm not taking trades at the minute.
  5. Well I broke down and ordered a used Element off Reverb... Sucker for shiny!
  6. This post cannot be displayed because it is in a forum which requires at least 1 post to view.
  7. Had one. More than I need. Not looking for a multi-fx. Well it does the headphone amp bit, but nothing else... Had one. Suppose it's a possibility... I'll look into that one...
  8. PM me Paul and I'll add you to the queue!
  9. At 300 quid it'd need to! WAY over what I want to be spending...
  10. Hi guys, I'm currently using a little Behringer Xenyx 302 mixer as a glorified headphone amp but I'm looking for something a bit smaller that I can leave hooked up semi-permanently on my pedal board. Any suggestions? As small as possible, run from pedal supply, aux in are all necessities, xlr/jack combo input would be great, volume for each input ideally... Edit: I realise I'm basically describing a Darkglass Element, but I'm looking for something WAY cheaper than that...
  11. Rattle can of nitrocellulose paint, mask off the wear you want to keep and paint away. Bit of a light sand/blend work with VERY light sandpaper. Different colour with wear intact...
  12. The cull commences!

Nothing vital, just a bit of a trim!

  13. Don't even remember buying this one... Not much to say other than it sounds pretty nice, if that's your thing, just isn't mad enough for me - but I have a Sea Machine clone here awaiting build so that'll cover me! A few little cosmetic marks that I've tried to photograph. £50 plus post. Only trades I'm considering at the minute are for an EMG PJ pickup set (complete) or a Tonepump preamp (trim pot version only), a Tonepump preamp (trim pot version only) or a Darkglass Element or similar pedalboard headphone amp.
  14. Ditto looper for sale. Small and dead easy to use. I only ever used it to record a short loop for setting tones with my other effects without having to play continuously. A wee bit of discoloration on the finish of this one for some reason but doesn't effect its function. Velcro on the back. £45 plus postage. Only trades I'm considering at the minute are for an EMG PJ pickup set (complete), a Tonepump preamp (trim pot version only) or a Darkglass Element or similar headphone amp.
  15. Bought this from @danbowskill a few months back, but it didn't see much use as I was in an "in for a penny, in for a pound" mood and almost immediately upgraded to @Kev's X Ultra. As it turns out, I still prefer my Tech21 dUg to either of them (although it's a close run thing!). Darkglass X7 - £180 plus postage WITHDRAWN Boxed. A few slight cosmetic marks but nothing much to write home about. No feet or velcro present but I have a few little rubber feet knocking around I can include if necessary. Darkglass X Ultra - £280 plus postage *SOLD* Boxed with USB cable present. Velcro attached but rubber feet in the box. A few cosmetic marks but again nothing to write home about. Check out Amos Heller's reviews on YouTube to hear these pedals in action. Only trades I'm considering at the minute are for an EMG PJ pickup set (complete), a Tonepump preamp (trim pot version only) or a Darkglass Element or similar pedalboard headphone amp.
  16. It's become apparent that I'm not a knob twiddler so this many options are lost on me... And I have a Helix Native license for recording purposes. Owned by me from new. Boxed and still has screen protector on it. Hardly used. Never stomped on EVER. Most of the controls haven't been touched as any editing I did was VIA the Line6 editor on my Mac. Looking £320 plus postage please. Only trades I'm considering at the minute are for an EMG PJ pickup set (complete) or a Tonepump preamp (trim pot version only).
  17. Damn... Just as I'm getting on board the Vigier train too!
  18. Trouser rubbing motion... https://bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Spector_USA_Forte_4.html
  19. I've never found a passive PJ where I liked the sound of the pickups mixed. The 2 different pickup types just don't play well together without a preamp to buffer them and stop them interacting in strange ways, IMHO, YMMV. Active PJs I have no problem with at all*. *Edit - actually that's not entirely true, active basses with passive pickups sometimes blend pickups passively before the preamp. Those are pants as well...
  20. I'd second the Roland Cube 30 and add the Line6 Studio 110. Brilliant amps in almost every way. The Roland is easier to find used in my experience. Not a fan of the small Peavey or Laney stuff myself.
  21. ...And a footswitch to follow by reading the manual... Looks like it could be a great tool, but there are just too many things not to like about it just at the minute. I wouldn't be an early adopter...
  22. +1 to that... No "X" option in the drive section seems a bit of an oversight... It'll sell like hotcakes I would imagine though...
