1. I'll check out all the pedal mentioned!
IE QF2 (Disclaimer : I'm selling mine) is a bit of a midrange king, as you can focus and stucture your mids with the 4 band EQ and then sweep those with the expression pedal as you play. For a simpler thing, have you tried an SFT?
SFT?

Damn it, knew I should have jumped on the vintage
3.
What is your budget? You would do a lot worse than giving Cog effects a message
was tempted but with the monies I'm dropping on the b7k I don't want to spend too much and the prospect of new board as well my bank will hate me.
4. up, will trade for something ampeg or aguilar! Can add cash depending on offer
5. 3. this warrants the purchase of a new bass The Xtender will only fit on you're lowest string as far as I'm aware. I don't think there would physically be enough room to have one on every tuner
6. I need some help looking for a really throaty punchy distortion/fuzz. I've got a microtubes b3k (for sale) to be replaced by a b7k and a bass big muff that great for the things I want them for but I'm after a different really gutsy, throaty distortion, with mids that really do sing and up out whilst mataining fundamental low end punch. Maybe I'm after more of a fuzz than a distortion. What do you guys reckon? I was thinking of maybe a USA big muff. I'd be playing this though a P + and Ampeg vr What do you reckon?
7.
Is there any real difference between the Finnish and USA versions Dan?
Sonically I'm not aware of any differences! Check out this video
8. Selling my Darkglass Electronics Microtubes B3K (finnish ver) Handmade, boxed and in good condition. Easily on of the best OD/distortions out there. 9. Can't recommend these enough! If They did the white P with a maple neck I would snap up another. Have a Bump for a smashing bass!

12. When I very first started playing my tutor sourced me this bass (second hand) to learn on. I've had this bass for a good 6-8 years and I'd really like to know some more about it and the luthier. From what I remember it's definitely a custom job. I know the bridge and tuners are schaller, the fret board could potentially be ebony? neck's set, scale length feels like its medium with 24 frets and it has a what a believe to be a great action. it's got a fair amount of dings and scrapes. Can anyone shed some light on anything? How much to you think it's worth? Excuse the awful pictures
13. Any chance you'd know if this would fit this?
