  2. Interesting. The serial decoder I used is apparently naff!
  3. The only original pot has 1377- 12 stamped on it. the other one has been replaced. Apparently that either '47 or '57...
  4. I'm on a mission to find out the date and origin of the below precision. I've been told it's a mid-late 70's the was originally fretless and has since been converted - no dots on the face of the fretboard. It's definitely been re-finished. The neck pocket is white. Is it a bitsa? if anyone can help shed some light that would be amazing! 5. Got myself a set of these CE6B's from Cosmic. Absolutely incredible.
  6. OR you could set 1 FS to toggle between a low drive and high drive setting.
  7. Shouldn't you be using the Pan blocks as opposed to the Send blocks? The send blocks are for the (Send L/R) outputs on the pedal not the L + R outputs. Pan your mod hard left and the pitch hard right? I also ran into a bit of an issue with using the send blocks. I was trying to send a split signal out to my Meatbox via the send output (L) and trigger the function with FS1. So far I found that having the block 'off' and Dry Thru @ 0 would send signal to my Meatbox. Seems a bit backwards to me...
  8. They work sure, but I personally think there are better options out there.
  9. The HiCon's seem vary in quality from connector too connector. The SP400's are one of the best quality plugs you can buy for compact/tight pedalboard builds.
  10. I got a knock off EB2 from Ali express. It's actually alright. Few wonky things, it's not perfect, the electronics are absolutely god awful and neck doesn't feel great but I have managed to get a good action and it doesn't sound all that bad. I did try and ask for a "walnut" finish but got the advertised red. Still have no idea why it's got that pickup selector... fun the play with though.
  11. Cosmic CE6B's ordered, will report back once I've got my hands on them.
  12. Been sat staring at awaiting customs clearance all week 😭

I’ve been sent loads of paper work for importing it now... I’ve never had to do this before.

  13. I'm looking for a clean and articulate modern rock sound. I'm currently using a Grabber with fresh strings, the 400+ model and the darkglass b7k sim. I'm looking for lots of zing with a nice bottom end. When I say I'm using headphones - I'm actually using IEMs. My real life rig is a Mesa 400+ trough a Fender 610 (tweeter off) mic'd with a 57. **I'm not using this with the helix**
  14. I'm not using it through a stack. Just through studio speakers and headphones at the moment. Has anyone else struggled with this? I did have the intention of knocking out my cab using this but I'm feeling a bit unsure...
  15. Has anyone actually found any of the bass cabs useful? I've found most of them put a blanket over my tone...? Does using your own IR's improve this?
  16. Yep. Great plug. I built a huge pedalboard for a band I work with using these. I probably wouldn't use anything else now.
  17. Build yourself some proper patch cables and use these. https://custom-lynx.co.uk/product/kmmk-squareplug-sp400-the-smallest-solder-type-1-4-right-angle-connector-created-to-date/
  18. @Osiris I've got myself a set of AS10s that I've been using for work (I'm a backline tech) that I recently tried on a short tour with a full stack behind me - Fender 610 and a Mesa 400+. I'm looking at getting myself a set of Cosmic Ears as the KZ's don't have the greatest fit/seal and come loose a fair amount. I did like having the weight behind me though... I'm very very precious about my tone. I've been an absolute pedal whore over the years. Most of them are drive and synth based. I know the Stomp doesn't have a synth engine, how do the drives play with analogue pedals?
  19. I'm currently awaiting delivery of a very heavy bass so more weight is a no no at the moment, that and I move around a lot on stage! Less wires the better for me!
