1.
Anyone know who has stock of these? I've checked the usual suspects (Dawsons, Guitar Guitar, Google!) but not a lot of MIM models are coming up...
Have you tried good old GAK? I tried a MIM out a week ago in the shop. Mind you I wasn't that impressed
  2.
You're right, its not under the '2013 limited edition' drop down menu on the site, so it must be standard production. Regardless, it looks amazing and I'm glad that I already agreed on a different colour for my '75 or I might have copying this and annoying poor Howard with my indecisiveness lol!
All of the big UK retailers and listing them under 2013 limited edition Interesting
  3.
Nice bass

Beautiful looking bass! PM'd
Cheers guys. She's a looker! Replied
  4. Has anyone played one? I tried one out and thought it was spectacular. Shame the action was a wee bit high and it doesn't come with any case
  5. So who's played one and what do you reckon? http://fenderjapan.co.jp/jb66b.html

  7.
Gorgeous bass, incredible price. If I had the money this would be coming home with me. You genuinely can't beat this for the price! Cai
Thanks I'm going to be really sad to see this go. This is only going so I can get a Fender 2013 Jap 66'
  8. My go-to jazz is up for sale to fund something I've wanted for a long time. So this loverly bass features a slim "c" neck. I love it. Super fast, easy to play and the satin urethane finish feels great. The pickups are fenders standard vintage alnico magnet pickups that sound like a jazz should and give a good deep growl. It's fitted as standard with the greasebucket tone circuit that rolls off the highs without adding bass. It's also currently strung with d'addario pro steels. Since owning the instrument from new I've fitted some extras. These include a black Babicz full contact bridge (info here) to allow ultimate adjustment and fine tuning. The bridge also makes the bass ring for days. I upgraded the tuners with some hipshot HB7 tuners as well as a BT7 Extender. There are also some black strap locks included as well. So what you get is: American special jazz Fender gig bag Hipshot HB7 x3 (+1 spare not fitted) Hipshot BT7 Extender Babicz full contact bridge Now there are two options.. Take the bass as it is or I can fit all the original stock hardware and have a chat about a new price. I'm looking for £550 Trades/Part Ex - I'm only looking for a fender Japan '66 jazz I could also throw in a ampeg svt pro 6 for the right deal Any questions, shoot me a message
  9. Price for the Tone Hammer?
  10. Amazing, if only she was fretted
  11. One of the bands I'm currently playing with have released this promo video of us smashing it out at The Haunt, Brighton for our EP launch. What do you think?
  12. So I'm looking at getting a Aguilar DB112 cab and potentially this head to use with it some small gigs with PA support. Do you reckon it would be a good match? If not, this cool head seems great for home rehearsals and perfect for the studio.
  13.
It might be worth talking to White Collar Zoo. They stream live gigs in Nottingham every week. They'll be doing our gig on Friday (9th August).
This looks cool. Had a look at most of the apps and websites they either charge or require users to pay to watch. I need something that will do it for free!
  14.
Yanek Gwizdala does this quite a bit. Can't hurt trying to email him.
Cheers, I'll look in to this
  15.
I agree it's a great idea if you are likely to interact with the people watching, Dave McPherson makes good use of things like that, gets fans to pick set lists, then streams acoustic gigs from home... It works well cos its just him and Ye people at home. If its a launch gig, I'd just concentrate 100% on the crowd there and engage them first. If you aren't including the people online somehow, it may as well be the next day they see it anyway? That's just me, I reckon it's more hassle that you might expect, but a great idea if done properly! Good luck, if you pull it off, post a link on here!

If it helps, I think he uses http://www.stageit.com/
Totally and always, live crowd comes first! This is more of a personal project that really interests me as I've never really seen smaller acts do something like this. I can see getting the audio quality up to a decant standard being the biggest foul in play. Thanks for the link, I'll check it out!
  16.
I'd just film it and put it on youtube the next day to be honest.
There is that yes.. But We're looking to stream it. I personally think that it's slightly quirky and makes the fans feel a bit more involved.
  17. Has anyone had experience with streaming a live show/gig? I'm looking at trying to set up a live stream of my bands EP launch. What I'm essentially looking for is a application that I can run on a laptop that can also take a line out from the desk, in to my mac and then stream the video along with the audio from the desk What applications have you used, has it cost you and what was the quality of the stream, audio & appearance like?
  18. I owen a american special jazz. Absolutely amazing basses. Neck's fast & smooth to match it's great tone. This will sell

  22.
The DL4 is an amazing pedal
Why not take it off my hands? It's just not getting the use it should!
