1.
What do those D'Addario XL's feel like in terms of tension /compliance? I seem to remember that they are meant to feel pretty tight . Do they last a fair while? People seem to either love them or hate them , but I have noticed over the years that a lot of top players seems to favour them .
Just re-strung my P with them. I love them. For me personally the tension is perfect. I tend to dig in when I play finger style and get a nice bouncy feel. The tension isn't what I was call 'tight' I can still play with light touch and feel really comfortable with what I'm playing. Can also get a loverly growly grind with a pick.
 2. Ernie Balls cobalts - rusted within a week or two (absolutely shocking) and they had a horrible tension/feel to them. I do love my D'Addario Pro Steels, their chromes are alright but I've yet to try out other brands of flats.
 3. Make me some offers, interested in compact/lightweight heads and anything with 4 strings
 4. Check this out.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Markbass-Little-Mark-Tube-800-Bass-Amp-Head-YOU-FIX-IT-/251372929938?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a86fe8392 I'd love to know how this happened
 5.
Right now I'm not a massive fan of p bass with flats, I'm think more a jazz or maybe a stingray kind of vibe. I just want I nice clean neutral sound with portability so maybe neo cabs. I was thinking littlemark 2/3 or maybe a GK head as they are quite reasonably priced second hand. I would like something close to flea's grit (at an absolute stretch) to a clean mellow sound which I don't think should be too hard to achieve with any of the small heads knocking about. Just a little unsure of cab choice as there are so many option now.
A little mark will get you that crystal clean tone. If you can, your best bet would be to find a local shop to go and try some gear out!
 6. jazz/funk/disco There's a huge range of different tones that cover these genres. What type of sound do you have in your head? Old school p with flats, nice bright jazz or a modern active styled tone (and anything In between) What about a Aguilar rig? I can't recommended them enough or Markbass
 7.
Beats me how this cab has not been sold at this price, and with a flightcase!. Total bargain
This would have never been put on here if I had the space for it
 8.
Oh, a B7K....fantastic piece of kit! I'd love to have this, been lusting for one for quite some time....but I'm skint at the moment and don't really have anything to trade besides basses. Is it normal that the letters rub off that easily on these pedals? I wouldn't really care about it as it's only cosmetical, but at that (new) price I'd have expected a bit more "durability" of the finish...

I'm afraid I don't know, this is the first Darkglass I've owned, the pedal came (2nd hand) like this to me On holiday at the moment, so will try and get some photos sorted when I get back Cheers Si
I've had my finnish B3K for ages and it gets a battering, all my lettering's as new! I'm actually really interested in a B7K though!

 15.
Looking through Bartolini's wiring diagrams it seems that their convention is Black = hot and White = earth/ground.
My wires weren't coloured. The grounded was braided and wrapped around the hot wire I need more help guys! There's something up with my tone controls. When I roll them off I'm getting a large drop in volume and my actually tone is sounding a bit off to me. Like I'm under water with all the mids and treble cut. It just doesn't effect my tone the way I'm used to. When I have my neck: Vol 10 + Tone 10 & my bridge: Vol 10 + tone 0 I'm suffering from a drastic drop in volume again as well as losing my neck in the mix. So I'm still getting that strange tone. When everything is open wide it sounds great! Hope this makes sense..
