My alesis io26 was bought intending to do loads of recording, drums and all but it didn't happen and now we have kids I doubt it will... All I've ever done is prattle with bass or guitar/vox which has only ever used 2 of the 8 Mic inputs! It's time to clear the top of my drawers and probably get a more appropriately sized interface, maybe an io2... Comes boxed as new and with a firewire cable... Wildly they're selling for about £190 shipping on eBay just now which, given it was 2 hundred and something new seems a bit bonkers to me! ...so, £160 shipped (UK only) pics to follow...(some stock ones for starters) Link to manufacturers blurb...

Mr Olympic (while being way better at archery than me) doesn't seem to have the most amazing aim? Then again, was he aiming for the holes in the grill...in which case...AMAZING!!

you're offering a panacea! The compressor pedal to end all compressor pedals and all for £163! I'll have a gander at the vids when I get onto wifi and away from this dirty work internet that won't stream vids!
IIRC he's somewhere near Leicester - it's hardly far.
Leicester is indeed near-ish but I don't have a spare couple of hours either way plus talking time (especially at weekends) so I wondered whether there was someone very near to me who could grant me an initial meeting with a Letts bass to see whether it's worth me making the trip...

For sale, my Rode NT1-A condensor mic, used once to record a guitar and then again to record vocals while I've had it. I got it new, it's still in mint condition. The only slight issue is that I've had to stick the tiny gold dot back on cos it fell off! Complete with original box, soft case, cradle packaging etc... Pop shield, used once, it mounts on the mic stand...I'll include an xlr-xlr too... £130 posted (UK postage only) pics to follow...
I'll admit I am not a fan of the 'I WILL KILL YOU'voice, but he sings nicely in the other parts. Love the music though.
Precisely this! -
...and 55-02 feels a bit firmer in the bottom, still lots but somehow slightly less flabby (55-01 not flabby but 55-02 even less so)

I have a 2012 55-02 std with mm/s and the Lakland pre. I had a 2011 55-01 before that with j/j barts. Both really nicely made and great sounding. 55-02 a little stronger in the mids and a little less clunky sounding, sweeter top end too, a bit more versatile sounding with the switched choice of coils on the mm too...

Used to have a Thumb NT 5 years back and it was really really nice but a bit clinical for me at the time, might be tempted by one of these Katana though! The Gallery have a used one in at around £1k it's blue though and I liked the natural one http://www.thebassgallery.com/product_details.cfm?ID=1944&type=Bass%20Guitar
