1. Happy new year fellow basschatters hope it brings you all niceness 'n stuff.
2. Sounds like you should sell that nasty squier to me!
3. I live by the rule it dosnt matter how good you are, there is always someone better very close by! Best to stay humble and not get your parade rained on heh heh.
4. Thanks mate when I get paid I may try one
5. I love this tune but have also never been able to nail the intro, I swear it's slightly out of tune! I'll try these suggestions out nice one!
6. Heh yeh I really do suck at this stuff! Luckily it as just the johnny Brooke jazz copy.
7. Cheers dude, I can't do anything technical but I'm hoping father in law can fix it. Anyone got a link to a suitable socket and switch? I reckon it is the socket as there is a gold springy flat bit of metal on the top that sticks up too far compared to the other ones, making the contact with the end of the jack dodgy.
8. I've only ever played bass, never wanted to play the guitar or any of that nonsense, still have no desire to either bass all the way for me.
9. The eq is only about a week old but I don't need them ten quid each posted.
10. I'll try to post a pic, I just attached wires to things till sound came out when I tapped the pups with a screw driver. The gone control still seems to do something it goes from wooley to woolier!! Oh yeah and it now buzzes like an mf!
+1 for the MXr blowtorch. Good for hysteria. Gaf, what settings did you use on the Pandora? might give it a try. Either way I know that Chris wolstenholme is a serious pedal freak and owns a multitude which he uses in all sorts of combinations (when recording). It's just a case of getting it as close as you can with what you've got or you'll spend a fortune chasing down the exact sound.
It's just called fuzz but I dunno if it was programmed by it's original owner, it's the old red pandora. Everyone just looks at me gone out when I play it as it sounds so close. I've yet to rtfm tbh but I'll try and figure out the settings for ya.
12. Some wires snapped when I changed a control plate, now it's as the title says, wtf have I managed to do?!?!
13.
I've been a member there longer than I have here but probably only have about 20 posts to my name. I find it a bit clicky if you don't have a) an old Fender or an exotic US made custom bass (this of course is my perception). They are definitely very easily offended and have little sense of humour.
...what he said...
14. Cheers dude, that all seems dead complex to me so it could be the switch rather than the jack. As its the same problem, wiggle the output and the signal comes back I'll see what aphex say but by the time I've paid for a repair this would cease to be a bargain. Ah well looks like I'll have to bite the bullet on this one.
15. Anyone know if this is do-able for not much cash? I have dismantled it but it looks kinda complicated. My father in law used to work in electronics and build hi-fi so I may get him to take a look. Has anyone done this? What sort of socket is needed...help!!

I nailed hysteria just using an old korg pandora, much to my surprise!
17. my local one has had the same stock since i moved here and massively overcharges for set ups etc, and are a right miserable bunch, i started off paying more to support my local music shop, but now i just think sod em.
18. Prob have to forget this, one of the jacks has gone I'll get the father in law to see if he can fix it.
19. Or I could sell it I guess for the twenty five I paid for it so I could by muppets blue loop
