  3. Just sold a Digitech Synth Wah to Andy - immediate payment, quick communications, a pleasure to do business with. Thanks dude.
  4. WITHDRAWN - FS-5U still available on separate post. [s]Source Audio Soundblox Multiwave Bass Distortion - £40[/s] - TRADED [s]Digitech Bass Synth Wah - £25[/s] - SOLD Boss PS-5 Super Shifter - £45 Unbranded true bypass switch - £10 Boss FS-5U unlatched momentary foot pedal - I was using this for tap tempo on a delay - £10 [s]EBS UniChorus - £35[/s] - SOLD All pedals boxed - £4 postage each - this will be less with multi-buys. They have all been used but are in good condition. A bit of explanation - the true bypass looper switch was used to take the Boss Super Shifter out of the direct chain of pedals on my board in order to avoid any tone loss. The switch is very quiet. I had removed the spring on the PS-5 (now replaced) to leave it always on, with the true bypass switch putting the pitch-shifter in or out. I would recommend getting the 2 pedals together. Any tone loss is not noticeable when the Super Shifter is working; as you're too busy listening to your bass shooting into space ;-). I was using it with an expression pedal, but I'm keeping that. Thanks for looking! 5. So I learn and play by ear and am looking for some suggestions for tunes and albums to jam along with in the soul/funk/female singer category. This is for an audition coming up with the singer and band's style being out of my usual playing and listening zone. I am finding Jill Scott's first album a useful starting point - no slap and not too complex, which is exactly what I'm looking for; but I'm now a bit sick of listening to this over and over! Any suggestions? Cheers

  7. Bought a Zoom r24 from Martin, great value considering it is 'as new', he threw in extras and did bomb-proof packing. Great comms too, fast delivery. Great to do business with! Alex
  8. Dr by day and punker by night! Great dealing with Fatos, he bought my MM Stingray with instant comms and speedy payment, no issues at all. Thanks again boss. Alex
  9. Bought Bill's MM Sterling - astonishingly good value considering the bass in in 'as new' condition. We chatted, arranged a meet up for exchange, no quibbles re: payment and method; all in all it has been a pleasure to do business with binkybongo :-)
  10. Hello, originally purchased from this here Basschat - see original thread below: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/178342-musicman-stingray-2eq-blackrosewood-w-case-sold-pending Fantastic mid-90s example, as per above thread as only used by me for a couple of practices. I have 2 extra tort pickguards as well as the mirror and black ones. What I didn't consider, coming from an SR5 background, is that the Stingray 4 doesn't have the selector switch. Plus I should've got a maple fboard version. Would like to stick to a 4-string so I would like to trade for a maple board Sterling (although I would also consider a trade for a maple board SR5). Or I would be happy to sell for 625 british pounds (which is what I paid). Thanks for reading!

  14. I would never have known, which I suppose makes me ignorant. No surprise there. What are the tells?
  15. I've just bought this Godin! Luckily a friend of mine was in the area so he could collect - I won't see it in the flesh though until the weekend. This will be my 3rd Godin bass and certainly the cheapest. My mate who collected it says its in great condition. The price for a Canadian parts US assembled bass made it a no-brainer; I don't understand why their resale value is so low. Same for some of the US Peaveys too.
  16. Wonderful looking bass. Why has it got Alice on the headstock?
