1.
how do either work with bass? any low end loss?
Both pedals have tone controls, with the Crusher having bass/mid/treble knobs. I've used them exclusively for bass and not noticed any loss of low-end - I was running them with a bit of treble to accentuate the dirt though!
2. I can't believe Mick (mic mac moe) doesn't have a feedback thread because he should and it should be full of positive vibes. I am fairly sure that a swap of his Stingray 4 for my 5 in a halfway meet was my 1st ever transaction on Basschat. Loads of fun to talk bass with him for ages while our partners complained ;-) I have just sold him a Micro BR, instant payment, excellent comms and a very decent chap all round. Buy from or sell to mic mac moe with confidence. Alex
3. Begg/Gerald is obv. new to the board but my sale of a Guyatone TZ2 Fuzz to him has gone in true Basschat style (i.e well!). Instant payment, quick comms. and no quibbles. A great chap to do business with. Alex
4. Pete bought my Morley Little Alligator, I miss it already but its gone to a good home! Quick payment (by cheque too to avoid Paypal fees), excellent comms and a v. friendly transaction. Buy from/sell to with confidence. Alex
5. Sold a Paulman 5 to Lawrence. I have had a lot of good experiences buying and selling on Basschat and Lozbass is up there with the best. I am glad the bass has gone to him, he is not just a great guy to do business with but also really friendly, patient and good fun to chat with. Getting the bass to him was quite convoluted, involving some friends of mine who live closer to him - but he was totally cool about the whole thing and then went out of his way (geographically and time-wise) to pick the bass up - including a tram journey and a wait in Morrison's cafe so I'm told! Even my mate Gavin who passed the bass over to Lozbass commented on what a top bloke he is ;P To sum up - immediate payment, constant comms, a great transaction. Buy/sell with confidence when dealing with him.
6. Sold Blind Pilot a Guyatone MD3 delay - quick and easy transaction with fast payment, no problems. A pleasure to do business with :-)
7. Silentbob/Rob has bought my Behringer Bass DI - with instant payment, good comms and kindness over Paypal fees. Model Basschatter, he deserves all the positive feedback here and above.
8. Just sold Bassulike66/Mark a MXR Micro Amp - good comms, lots of patience (I'm not the fastest sometimes!), instant payment with kindness shown re: Paypal fees. In short, sell or buy from him with confidence.
9. Forgot to say - prices include postage as long as I don't end up with PayPal fees at my end.

12.
The two shots of the headstock show different styles of machinehead, is it the same bass headstock and have the tuners been changed? Nice bass by the way.
My bad - that was not my pic. I've just uploaded my own photos and problem solved. The tuners on are the Schallers shown.
13. Bought this bass not long ago and fastastic though it is, its just not quite right for me. Would make a fanstastic slap-machine with the active/passive switch and low low action. Good all-rounder too really, its just not getting enough playing here. Hand-built by Paul MacNab in Huddersfield, who passed away in July (v. sad, I would have loved to have met him though I think 'Beneath it All' who I bought this bass from knew him). Built c. 2005 34" scale Mahogany body, quilted maple front, flame-maple neck with rosewood/bubinga/ebony inserts, wenge board with side dot markers. German Goldo pickups and active circuitry w. bass/treble cut/boost and passive pull/push switch on rear volume control Goldo bridge with string spacing adjustment Tuners by Schaller Very good condition but it is an instrument that has been played, in with accompanying minor marks. These are the photos from the original sale also updated with my pics. £400. Happy to deliver.
