1. Thanks Ash but the way things are right now I couldn't afford it (hence the price reduction in the hope for a quick 'I need a car' sale)
2. Are you prepared to sell the Highway 1 P separately? If so for how much?
3. Don't want to do this BUT... I am now firmly selling my Godin a5 fretted. Canadian made, US assembled. Has 2 cosmetic marks on front wood (purchased with these, I don't notice them and they don't affect the sound). Has genuine Godin hard case. Pics to follow. £450 anyone?
4. You will notice a whole heap of positive feedback for sk8 and I reckon I can happily add to this. Great comms, fast payment, confirmed receipt of the ehx freeze I sold him. A pleasure.
5.
Hi...Bit puzzled here, It has a selector switch so it should have another humbucker .Has this been removed by you and if so do you still have it?
I had a Stingray 5 with a single bucker and it had the selector switch, all the 5s do I think. It does various configs of the coils - I only ever used one or two settings. Man I miss my Rays, both 5 and 4 versions. Stupidest sales/trades ever. Plus I really want this, the white scratchplate on black is so good!
6. For sale - a used but excellent condition Boss TR-2? Say 55 quid posted?
7. Just sold Ian (bigwan heh heh) an MXR Octave. Instant comms, instant payment, proper nice bloke to deal with. Buy from him, sell to him or both with confidence I reckon.
8. I'm sure there is someone looking for a road-worn P on this here board?
9.
Hmm I guess we'll never know.
Sorry boss, wasn''t ignoring you but was sellng and packing the pedal. TBH I have no idea what's wrong with the MXR. Outside and inside look fine to me. But then, I have a social sciences degree.
10. Danelectro Wasabi Distortion - £40 posted EHX Freeze - SOLD PENDING USUAL [s]MXR Bass Octave - £20 posted - no guarantees of it working but cosmetically its great.[/s]
11.
Surely that can't be 15mm at the bridge?
True dat. I have checked with others who reckon its 16 or 16.5, but I reckon its 15.
12. DOD flanger SOLD, BBE Crusher still available with some interest shown ;-)
13. Info on Hamer Cruise 5 in response to requests: Weight: 9.8lbs String spacing at bridge: 15mm Pick-ups: stock (I think) Basslines
14. Every bass OHM has put up for sale on BC over the last year (there have been a few) I have wanted to buy and this one is no exception. Are you sure sure sure you don't NEED a Hamer Cruise 5 or a Godin Freeway 5? Darn lack of actual cash :-(
15. Hamer Cruise in green, 2tek model, US made, active with basslines J pickups. [s]£500[/s] NOW £350 Discontinued but info here - http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f8/lets-see-...-basses-583015/ Looking also for trades for a 4-string with a P or Stingray config in a Precision or Jazz stylee. 17. Want. Want. WANT *checks bank account* *sits in a huff in the corner*
18. TBH Im less bothered about the quality of the website or the fact his photos are done in the living room, the question is whether the DIY ethic re: net presence affects the build or playability of the basses; which judging by the write-ups as a whole (inc. the range of guitars) may well not be the case. As to the visual impact of the basses, well I'm not fond of the 4s but I reckon the 5bass looks different in a good way and I'm all for that, plus it ticks a lot of personal boxes (through-body stringing, single/MM pick-up config etc.). So has anyone played a 5bass who can comment on comfort, sounds, build quality etc?
