yeah, it was Tomorrow's World definately. I remember watching it at the time (quite probably about 15/20 years ago) and for some reason I've had it in my head ever since that the guy in question was Abe Laboriel (playing it, although I don't think he'd been involved in its production).... but I'm probably wrong on that front!
thank f**k for that,it was driving me mental,i've tried explaining to people for years but they just reckon i dreamt it. it was ages ago wasn't it? strange thing to remember

right im sure ageeess ago on the telly i saw a mad nordic bloke doing some slap on his loveley bass, then twisting some key/knobthingy and it magically transforming to a fretless like some crazed funk juju bean fretboard of voodoo. sure it was on tomorrows world or something to that effect. does anyone have any clue of what im gabbling on about?? was it real? was i just deprived of sleep that badly it didn't really happen?
but it still looked horrible.
fair play mate i seen some right minging looking bb's i thought my nathan east body wasn't too bad lookswise in comparison to some, but the necks really nice and it sounds good. but i do find it uncomfortable after a while but that may be me sketchy forearm. i think the older trb's are a lot nicer than the newest ones. really wanted a six string off here actually -
As soon as I saw this photo I thought I could here my mother screaming, "Tidy your room now or your not going out tomorrow night!" Nice vintagey sounds and very JJ feel to those lines - I reckon you could put a concept band together around that amp alone, as well as being the funkiest combos I've ever seen all that padding make it very health and safety pleasing. I have had no problem if my headstock had landed on top of that!
regardless off your mum prohibiting you from the hoose it sound fat through my monitors then and it looks real good too paul mate love the bowling pins man
I have just been getting the bass from the loft and i dropped in down the ladder onto a concrete floor, the bass neck has split and the headstock has come off......
who keeps their bass in the loft?? and has a concrete landing? ebay seems like a right mess at the moment i just looked through it i reckon you could drop that in its case from 6ft and it'd would be fine! wtf
-
Not that in my line of work id ever condone such behaviour.... but i still reckon you should send the yikey (american pikey) tw*t a box of varied turds and squirrels heads.
