Cool, I'll look it up! I've added some pics of myself in the "add pics of yourself" thread if anyone's interested in what I look like. I wouldn't recommend looking though, unless you have some bleach handy to burn your eyes out with.. Anything in particular by Wooten and/or Miller you'd recommend? I mean I know of them and I've heard a little of their stuff but i've never really looked into playing any...
if you go on youtube i suggest looking at this mate: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZyQAFroumM for the loveley mr wooten! for larry: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_pbhxB7cGbw theres 4 parts to that, this is the 1st its great! i know i just put some up of myself haha

  9.
Morning fellow musicians I've played bass for 5 or 6 years now. I got by with my first for a while, a pretty (but cheap and cheerful) Westfield, but have had my beloved Cort A4 for a couple of years. She's great, but I keep finding myself in need of two things: a 5th string, and an acoustic. I don't play anything like professionally, the occasional wedding/party etc etc, you know the way, so my budget is not particularly high, probably £200-£250. I know this limits me to pretty average guitars, but instead of sticking a pin in a list and buying one (my local shop doesn't have any) I was hoping someone could advise me on where to start looking for a great 5 string acoustic. Thanks for any advice. Ben
or the olde evilbay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Crafter-Electro-Acou...1QQcmdZViewItem looks pretty nice

good morn been a lurker for a bit finally joined a week or so ago so thought id do the intro thingy. mainly due to the fact there doesn't seem like there's any bullsh*tters on this forum. been playing about 18 years electric and standy uppy for about 8,mostly jazz funk and anything with a groove really. i live in cheshire and spend a lot of time all over the shop faffing about on pieces of wood with wheels on. had a lot of sh*t basses and a lot of nice ones, had surgery on both forearms due to skateboarding shenanigans so adopded a problem with most bass bodies but just about managing with a nathan east yam 5 string which i nearly depaerted with last week but i think it likes me too much. lookin for a nice 6 again tho at the mo. i been a drum and bass/breaks producer for the past 10 years doing ok but having a break and now working for bentley. and nobody likes work ta grosa
  17. Hansi Baumgartner form psycore, not my kind of music but his fretless line on medication was really good, heard some other stuff thats nice too

  25.
Cheers for the ofer Peaty, but i've never really got on with the yamaha shape... Bass wise, i'd ideally like a Musicman copy, maybe an OLP or something, with cash adjustment.
hows about a yamaha thats not a wierd shape? i got a nathan east bb605 ne-1 preamp its well nice but i dont get on with the large shape well ok its not massive like but its just not my type haha
