@BabyBlueSound the way you would do it is 9mm pots, and smd parts - I think you could have 3 across in one row - whether it’s worth it is another question!! I think there possibly more pcb space to be won if you used relay bypass (facing up) and a smaller momentary fs (but that’s more complex than I wanted to try with the above)

Also reserve the right to change my mind and not make anything, stick one of the prunes and custards in the enclosure!
-
While I'm still building the wee batch of prunes and custards, my test enclosure is laying about... and starting to think what I could build to go in it.... The idea was "I don't use distortion/fuzz much so if I'm going to make one lets shrink it down as much as possible... Realistically 3 pots and two switches are close to the limit of feasibility, actually you could fit more So far contenders are.... Big muff, Russian style or Bluebeard. Mayonnaise Fuzz/Kewpie (also Muff variant Zvek Super Hard On with the clipping diodes mods (oh AKA JPTR Jive) Bass Klon Mastodon - make the pots fit somehow Brassmaster - would be biggest challenge but technically the transformer should fit Broughton High pass/low pass (not a fuzz) my assumptions between my ss/bs and hx stomp I dont need drive if I can buy it its' easier to do that, which is whyI scored out the Klone- A mosky black rat is simpler, and cheaper than making one! Obviously if I could get a brass master or something this small there's size benefits over the behringer one. It's gotta be something cool enough I can't get elsewhere... Like the prunes and custard. I've got a hankering for a BMP - but will it be that much better than the models on the HX? At the moment the Brassmaster (for technical challenge) and SHO with mods/Jive (to see what the fuss is about)are probably the most likely, High pass/low pass would be useful .... Any suggestions?

My subscription ran out last week so I can’t respond to that!

Says “Cook pass Babtridge” doesn’t it?
-
My mate who plays bass a bit but not a gear geek came around the other day and his only pedal was a mini Qtron in a wooden box - was really nice
-
psss - lock washers on the switches go on the inside! how does it sound?
-
oh prunes and custard coming from New Zealand... hence Aotearoa Intermodulator name and fern leaf graphics. My uncle is a kiwi so growing up rugby= all blacks

You know the time you first solder a project together, and it works, and it sounds great, and it makes up for all the "oh crap why did I make it in such a small enclosure?" moments... Prunes and Custard in a Gorva M45 (5mm or so wider than 1590A) with top jacks. Printed by Gojira... I think I've missed the wire earthing the input when off, and the bass cut switch might actually be on in the down position... (but it's fairly subtle) But I'm pretty happy with that. Camera died before I could show what top jacks look like... It's also tiny. Got parts and enclosures for another 5 Oh and after 10+ years my solder sucker broke.

I'm no graphic designer but that decal is.... ... no wait I am a graphic designer... 🫢

My 55-94 classic has been wearing Ti flats for the last few years, treated it to some Sadowsky blue label nickels - meant to buy the steels but oh well Excited to try

which is which for octave? Sounds good though

It's the kinda tweak ability that's great.... till my daughters decide to play with my pedals and move all the knobs- and then something like a SA atlas with saveable presets comes into it's own!
-
completely depends how they are modelling and capturing things. I don't really see much difference in an SVT amp capture/model made by Zoom and stuck in a £110 pedal vs a SVT amp capture/model made by Brian from Oxford and uploaded into a £130 pedal
-
That would be nice
-
My guess is he/she Gets by with a sansamp and tu-2

Isn’t there a pixies song that explains it?
-
thats a different song, but it's worse than that - don't they repeat the lion and the lamb bit? Doesn't that make it two lions and two lambs?
-
I had someone the other week suggest I didn't know what half of them were doing the other week - considering I'ld built half of them myself I figured the best thing to do was a full on pedalboard rundown with him... Mind you I took my pedalboard appart on Friday .... forgetting I was playing this Sunday, so a simple tuner-octave-drive-chorus-colourbox setup this week.

Gunna need a bigger board!
-
Pitch fuzz into hot saws or something I think? Dunno, I don’t own a H90!
-
It’s a patch on the H90 isn’t it? Ild rather pay more and get one of them secondhand!
-
my only thought, as I currently squeeze things in Gorva m45 with top jacks - small jacks cost a fair bit - and if it's going underneath your board a bigger patch bay with cheaper jacks may be easier than a micro one!
-
Indeed. I've got the parts for 6. One for me, one for Lee who encouraged me to try this, and 2-3 I think spoken for. I need to check I'm not making too many that I fall foul of the rules on here by talking about them!
