bought my 69 jazz in74,I am the second owner, the first was a local jazz muso,when I got it , it had the original case,strap and receipt from the music shop when new I still have these today, this is the one bass I will never sell, cheers stef

I have a 69 jazz,that has not done a gig since 99, thats the reason everything else was added,the sqiers,peavy ect. it just means so much to me,the fear of anything happening to it,also my dad who has now passed gave me the money for it, memories memories cheers stef

today I was tidying up my music,putting stuff on I tunes ect as I was going along was listening to stuff I had not listened to for ages, I realised that players like the magnificent alan thomson(j martyn ect) the superb del palmer( kate bush) just seem to be so underated what do you think? cheers stef

whilst I understand the frustration, and as the op says,he would pay up to £14 ph if it had good gear, a half decent set up cost £6/7/800 to be thrashed within a inch of its life at any given time,times 2 or three or four rooms,how long would it take to recoup the cost before profit, and then replace, if prices were £20/£25 ph then ok,but at £9 ph hmmm, sorry just my take on it,not here to offend, chees stef
