I would offer it on here until you either get a sale or need to shift it quick I have bought a bass and an amp from people on here and it has gone well and both parties were happy.

I use a fretless most of the time. I find it fun and usually gets people asking what it is Mine is just a cheap second hand (£100) Rogue I picked up in PMT. I use it for all the acoustic gigs but I also use it for my electric Rock/Blues project too. Can be played clean, with chorus or full distortion Go for it!

I do both to get a good balance. Di clean and mic the eq sound.

If it's a tribute band and you are trying to get the 'look' then yeah get whatever the band had. If you want to sound good, then play what gives you the tone and you feel comfortable with. I only use my fretless for gigs since getting problems with my hand. It sounds cool and to be honest, no one even cares (I have been asked what it is on occaision ).

Fretless for heavy metal anyone? Play it loud and jump about a bit, no one will notice it's the wrong type!

We played the Green Man last night. No pictures of me playing bass I used my Fretless through the Orange Crush 50w. I also DI'd it into the PA and used the Orange mainly as a monitor. There were a couple of poorly recorded videos from the crowd. Not worth posting but the gig was good. A great crowd and we got paid! It's all good.......

My neighbours complained, apparently........ I used ear plugs and was still blown away by the shear volume. I used the Marshall full rig and the line out through my PA. My friend who lives 6 doors away says he also could hear it with clarity! Rock & Roll

Two is better than one When I add a 1 x 15 to my 2 x 10 combo, it gets mighty loud! Oh and yeah, stuff falls off and windows rattle!!!!
