1. One of these should do the job, and note "silent switching" option https://www.vein-tap.com/product-category/true-bypass-loopers/?utm_source=Vein-Tap.com+Newsletter&utm_campaign=bf3207bcc6-Clickless_True_Bypass8_5_2015&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_9f7cb15e72-bf3207bcc6-105502853&mc_cid=bf3207bcc6&mc_eid=84fef6d8de
 2. Pretty sure I was in this band! It was really good fun. Hope you find a good replacement
 3. Wow! This thread has gone properly tits up since I last visited!😂
 4. My favourite looking Warwick - nice one
 5. We've had both of our submitted tracks played. TBH I don't know who listens, but any exposure is good, and you can say you've been featured on the BBC 😁
 6.
Yes. Sorry I misread you post. Blame it on my bad eye.
No worries amigo
 7. Great thread with some great tunes. Here's Breakestra feat. Chali2na http://youtu.be/ak5b6gNnM30
 8.
So, it is legal to rip a Minnie Ripperton CD then?
Ripping Minnie Ripperton to Minidisc is a hangable offence
 9. I Would contact this seller. The thread is locked, but possibly in error as only one of the two have been sold by the looks of things http://basschat.co.uk/topic/267002-acg-eq01-preamps-made-by-john-east-1-of-2-sold/ Edit: Sorry, just clocked that you want it in a pedal
 10.
Wood&Tronics logo is now silver (was gold previously)...
That's the one 👍😊
 11. Look up!
 12.
Looking great! New control knobs, all black pickup covers and i believe you polished the scratchplate a bit
Cheers! All correct, but one more change!
 13. I've made theee changes to the bass since putting the new scratchplate on, and feel it has come together nicely. Can anyone spot what the three changes are?
 14.
Always nice to see another John Irving fan. Have you thought about having that p/g engraved, like a Zematis? Something curly and organic to match the overall feel.
Yeah, love John Irving; his last book 'In One Person' was one of his best yet. I can see how the engraving could work well, but it's just not 'me' - I don't really do fancy and ornate.
 15. Lovely! Bet it plays like butter, great for jamming, etc. Etc.
 16.
So as a Class A amplifier is around 10% efficient, you need 10000 watts or around 40 Amps of current at 230V. Three times what you can draw fro a single socket ( unless you are running three phase) it is August not April isn't it!
Is your sarcastic gybe based on the fact that you think I was talking about Class A and Class B amps? I wasn't - I was referring to two different hypothetical types of amp labeled Type A and Type B.
 17. Are we talking Modulus Flea here? The swap with the Fender would suggest so, but two of them on a week? That's nuts!
 18.
Thanks, what did I do wrong? I .. changed the // to \\
That may be your issue 😊
 19.
A favourite of mine, here's another by them: http:\\www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ma8ABYwo1Ew&index=4&list=PLL__puWsATNz8EjGA25nHQEOb87n2bu5J Apparently Lowell George played on this track, you can hear his slide low in the mix. Maybe someone can embed this?
http://youtu.be/Ma8ABYwo1Ew
 20. Real world you say? I have a 1000w Type A power amp which easily handles the lows. Then I sell it, and with half of that money buy a cheaper Type B 3000w power amp which handles those lows just as well. Great. My inner voice will be nagging me to buy the 3000w version of the Type A power amp, as it will be amazing. I'm now skint with an aching back, but happy.
 21. Funnily enough I was just jamming along to this last night. Great feel, and I love the little fast bit after the second chorus. And the key change. And the drumming. Everything basically
 22.
I'm ignorant of the 'history' of this bass, the seller or the shop involved but what is the problem with the neck? Is this an early 80's bass with a headstock break that was repaired in the past or is it a truss rod issue... or something else?
There is another thread somewhere which details issues that the owner has with the neck. The ebony is a bit porous, there is a small knot visible, and there are some small gaps due to shrinkage where the ebony meets the fretlines. Edit: found it http://basschat.co.uk/topic/266726-please-look-at-the-ebony-board-on-new-streamer-bass-damaged/
 23.
he never noticed it was a leftie until it arrived
Hahah. Sounds like something I would do 😁
 24.
Just checking the final masters of the Dick Venom & The Terrortones album "SnakeOil For Snakes" before it goes off to the pressing plant.
Looking forward to it
 25.
Print off a sign saying CAN I UNPLUG THE THING and wave it around at the sound guy Laminate and throw it in gig bag.
I might actually do that
