  1. Here is my view on this topic, a markbass amp and cab give you a very true representation of what your bass really sounds like, i realised this when I was in a recording studio a few years ago playing my parts from in the control room plugged straight in to the desk, my bass sounded very different than I was used to but in the final production it was just what the tracks needed and the band loved the result. I found it very difficult to recreate that sound live until I played through a markbass set up in my local music shop, I baught it there and then and have never looked back. If you want to hear your bass the way the manufacturer intended it to sound then this is the way forward.
  2. Great amp Great price Great bloke Great cuppa
  3. For sale is my Markbass CMD 121H combo which comes with a Roqsoild cover. I would be looking for £500 It is in excellent condition and has only been used for rehearsals, but it is capable of so much more. [attachment=111391:IMG_1424.JPG] [attachment=111392:IMG_1426.JPG] [attachment=111393:IMG_1430.JPG] [attachment=111394:IMG_1434.JPG] [attachment=111395:IMG_1431.JPG] The only reason for the sale is because i have recently acquired a Markbass CMD102 combo to go with my 104HR cabinet, so this is no longer needed. 4. I'm not contacting you by mistake this time! I think I own your old Status Shark Proactive. The chrome wear on the bridge is the same, I bought it about 3 years ago in Manchester and use it as my main bass. I recently bought a Status Groove which has the same neck profile but a MM positioned pickup. Both great basses

  11. Price drop!
  12. It is the LMII head. I also noticed that the input spec for both amps is slightly different, but im not sure what effect this has. LMII impedance 500 Kohm, max. voltage 15 Vpp SA450 impedance: 500 Kohm, max. voltage: 9 Vpp
  13. Yep, i was a bit worried to start with, i even changed the battery in my bass. But after an A/B test it was still the same. I just go by the instructions and it sounds great.
  14. Here are my experiences with the MarkBass input gain. I have an SA450 head and i recently aquired a CMD121H combo. When using the SA450 I have the gain set to about 12 o'clock to make sure that it doesn't clip, but when i plugged in to the combo for the first time i was suprised that i could wind the gain up to around 5 o'clock before there was any sign of the clip light coming on. I presume that the two amps just have different input sensitivity?
  15. Updated with new photos.
  16. Yep, it comes with the mains power supply.

  18. My Ashdown Little Giant 350 is no longer needed due to a new combo on its way. I have owned it for a couple of years from new and have used it most weeks at rehearsals and for a spare at gigs. It has been extremely reliable and is still like new, i also bought separately the Little Giant carry bag which i am including with the amp. I am looking for £160 for the amp and bag [attachment=79420:amps_004.jpg] [attachment=79421:amps_005.jpg] [attachment=79422:amps_006.jpg] Power output is 350 W (RMS) in to 4 ohms It measures 210 x 66 x 310 Weight is 3kg Switchable active/passive instrument inputs 7 band semi-parametric EQ (switchable) Deep and Shape switches An input level meter Pre/post switchable balanced DI output FX send and return Line input and output 2 combination Speakon/Jack speaker outputs Thanks for looking
