    They used to be. The HA3500 was a brilliant amp. It all went wrong after that really. A real shame.

    I use Forescore with a Donner bluetooth page turner pedal. Forescore is great - in portrait it shows the entire page and in landscape it moves down the page with each press. The repertoire for the bigband is big and would fill a lever arch file or 2 and it's annoying to carry it all. I now have it on my iPad. I either take photos of the sheets or scan them - but I do have an A3 scanner which makes it easier - most purchased sheet music is too big for an A4 scanner.

    Seriously though, my big band starts up rehearsals on 25th September and depending on how awful it is we may or may not have a Christmas gig. Getting 25 people up to speed again (if everyone comes back) takes a bit more work than a 3 piece!

    Selling a Yamaha HS7 monitor as I have 3 of them and I only need 2. Great condition, only been used in the house with my Helix (wonderful for that). £110 ideally collected from Northants but postage is possible too. Now £110 including delivery in the UK.

    PRICE DROP TO £425 delivered as I've spotted something shiny that I don't think will be around long I have too many amps so one (maybe 2) must go as I have serious gas for a bass and need to raise the money. Darkglass M900 version 1. Fully working. Few little marks here and there but nothing that is easy to photograph. Box is a bit tatty / torn in places. £500 with insured and signed for delivery. Or collection from Northants. £425 including delivery in the UK! Only while the other thing is available!

    I think I've only matched them once in 30+ years of playing. It's not something I worry about at all. I've had a lot of cabs in that time from cheap no-name crap to Mark Bass, Bergantino, Marshall, Hartke, Barefaced and others. These days it's a Barefaced Super Twin with one of my 4 amps depending on what mood I'm in. Usually either a Tech21 VT500 or a Mark Bass Marcus Limited 800. Those 2 are my favourites.

    Rotos have coloured ball ends. So that’s not it. the left does look more like a Thomastic. The right - no idea!
