  1. If you go to your notification settings you can change that
  2. In the short term using Google to search the site may work
  3. We're waiting on an update from the software provider
  4. Huge upgrade coming in the next week hopefully. The uptake on the new site was a bit better than expected and we're having to move to a beefier server setup

    Lost feedback

Yeah we've limited the search to a year until we migrate to a new server than can take the site load
  6. Actually further confusion, musically talented immediately brought to mind for me compositional skills rather than actual playing.
  7. I quite like bits and pieces and strongly recommend that everyone check out "straight outta Compton" belter of a film
  8. @ped make sure they remember our table this year
  9. Music is only a combination of sounds though. It will happen, it's just a matter of time. Frequency analysis research is going through the roof in recent years and the processing power is coming along nicely to make it achievable and affordable. All things being equal, if you can't hear a difference do you go for the old school valve amp that requires a cabinet, servicing and micing up and can only do one trick or the emulator that sounds EXACTLY the same. I know we're not there yet but it will come
  10. The thing is sound is just waves, sooner or later (or we're already there) there will come a point where telling the difference between amp and speakers -> mic -> pa vs emulation -> pa is going to be negligible or non-existent. In the crowd you don't hear what the band are playing through anyway so the trouser flapping disappears and becomes redundant to all but the player and how that is resolved is up to the player. On a big stage they'll never stand close enough to their rig to hear it, let alone feel it
  11. Well there's more nonsense in the thread now
  12. This one? The ad looks fine! You might want to reorganise your pictures and text a bit but you can do that by going to the post and clicking edit The most recent advert goes to the top of the first page, if you want to bring it back to the first page then use the "bump" button (which you can do every 36 hours) People to contact are in the staff tab Or you can contact us through the support tab or here
  13. Probably one of the classical chaps but out of modern musicians I would probably put forward Michael Jackson. While he wasn't my cup of tea his talent was undeniable
  14. Most of mine are from answering bits from the new software
  15. Bloody hell @discreet you're racking them up quick
  16. The kemper was the forerunner for me for a long time and then the helix appeared. Covering bass and guitar as well as extensive effects makes it a pretty easy choice for me now
  17. Just got a sonos in my kitchen and loving it too I've used Spotify extensively for work and travel for a while so the "discovery" playlist is pretty good for me these days as it knows my tastes, then there's a few genre specific ones I've made, a playlist of songs and bands recommended to me by band members and a playlist of songs that I loved when I was younger
