  1. I had an OLP and it wasnt too bad. It was passive though as opposed to the active stingrays. There was a thread on talkbass by someone who was in the same boat as you. https://www.talkbass.com/threads/passive-musicman-pickup.703397/
  2. My 63 Sonic Blue P bass bridge has completely rusted to bits. The level of relicing was so over the top that I couldnt raise the saddles or intonate it because it had completely seized. I have had to have the whole lot replaced and I havent had it a year yet. 🀬 Any other Limelighters had this problem?
  3. Maybe this thread should be titled 'Sellers Remorse'
  4. Tom Bornemann is one of my go to you tubers.
  5. Just bought one of these at a really good price. However, the user manual is in every language but English. Can I store preset effects like chorus and overdrive for a quick selection rather than scroll through pages of effects to get to the one I want? A quick google doesnt have much about the workings of the unit only really the sounds of it.
  6. I dunno about Norman on London calling, but I believe Topper Headon played bass on Rock the casbah.
  7. Everybody in our band can choose 2 songs each whether the others like them or not. As its a classic rock covers band they are usually within the genre. When it gets to rehearsal though, we often discover that some of the songs we cant carry off and they are dropped.
  8. The black suits that Jazz. I like the way it matches the pups and the knobs.
  9. Well, those strings havent been changed in 40 years. If its good enough for them...... ! 😁
  10. Thanks. I have ordered a black one for this.

  16. Hmm. I was just wondering whether or not it might sound empty with just one guitar and a bass, bearing in mind the organ is playing the chords too. Oh well. The only way is to give a go. 🀨
  17. Our drummer has always wanted to cover 'Break On Through' as he is a huge Doors fan. However, I can take or leave them. But unlike Riders On The Storm there is no bass guitar, only an organ. Has anybody tried this? I just wondered if I Could get away with it. 🀨
