  1. As its Christmas I was just wondering if anyone wanted these 2 bits off an old Jazz I had. Both machine head and Off white scratch-plate are from a 98 USA Jazz. I have no use for them so first PM gets them and Im assuming postage will be around a fiver. Both in good nick. If youve got a 90s Fender Jazz then its for you. Let me know Cheers Col
  2. Oh man, all at once!!! Lovely bass, have a bump my friend

  5. Love this guitar, ive got the dreadnought version which is awesome. A huge guitar for silly money! Have a bump
  6. Go on Kev..nice Crimbo gift to ones self
  7. Bought my pedal, paid for it and left good feedback once happy. Great BCer Plus he's a very friendly guy too....thanks Kyle
  8. Ashdown Rock. Ive used them for years but now am on a 'not by choice' low weight Rig by TC Electonic which is great. Truth is If I could afford a roadie I'd be back to Ashdown in a flash. Then again Im a Warwick fan too so what do I know. Try out the top end Valve stuff but most touring players are using the ABM with the awesome Sub Harmonic Generator (which Im yet to find an octave pedal that can replicate it). They are bullet proof and the aftersales is second to none. Big Vote for Ashdown...I miss them
  9. Your right....its just so tempting, you wont have that for long. Soo much bass for such little money.

  11. Mancave in the making, got the obligatory Hercules wall hangers up. Skirting and flooring on the way:-)
  12. Well, folks there are now a few of us on here that own and use these divisive basses. I for one think they are simply gods creation for the quality of sound they throw out just blows other basses into the ether. Just my position you understand. I considered adding the Stryker as she is an Enwistle bass but thought no, she aint got Buzzard on the headstock, yet she does have the Beak..........? Here are my flock. These are just quick snaps and please ignore the missing skirting, the room is freshly plastered [attachment=149562:IMG_4611.jpg] [attachment=149563:IMG_4615.jpg] [attachment=149564:IMG_4616.jpg] [attachment=149565:IMG_4618.JPG] Comments welcome.
  13. Just for clarity on this bass offer. The only reason its available is that Im in serious need of a 5 string. Im not really looking to switch her as my 4 string cup overflows. If you've got a sexy fiver sitting around and you've got some Entwistle in your blood then this could well be the bass for you. Its a real killer. Thank you for all offers to date. Cheers Col
  14. Lovely bass. If only 5 string. Have a Warwick fan bump
  15. How concise was that? Thank you Japanaxe, you my man are a Gent. Normal range truss movements are fine. I'm simply asking in case there are pitfalls to avoid when changing the whole string structure and tensions. ill get on it tomorrow and I'll have an evening to learn the tracks muchos gracias Col
  16. Hi folks, As a bit of an oldie I haven't really kept up to speed with the modern metal scene and had never heard of Djent n things. I was part of the emerging Thrash metal genre back in the 80s when guitars were still tuned to concert pitch or maybe down half a tone. Anyway a pretty damn decent metal band has requested my old school input on bass which is awesome but all my basses are in concert pitch. These guys tune down to Low C sharp. Ive got the fat strings (.120) ordered and on the way, aside from Nut and action adjustments what do I do with the truss rod?? Ive never had to make these drastic changes before and Id hate something to go wrong. Truss trod adjusting advice would be so welcome. My 'audition' is on sunday
  17. Thank you for the kind words. Should you decide you want to trade the Lull drop me a message :-) We could talk
  18. I bought a fab EBS Wah One and not only was it well priced but was packed and shipped swiftly. Top stuff, have no qualm dealing with Pulley A+ Cheers Col
