1. Stunning!
2.
Oh no .. overhang ....
Haha, I also had to make a slight modification to the amp's feet to make it clear the Midget T's handle....eek!
3.
Interesting combo of old gen Midget and new SC. Will be interesting to hear how they fare together. I still rate the sC as my favourite ever cab and cannot wait to be able to afford one again
Had a word with Alex about it and apparently he thinks the Midget T is arguably a better match for the Super Compact than the original Compact
4.
You should know better than to believe everything you read on the internet. Looking forward to your impressions.
They certainly promise a lot. I tried a Gen 1 Compact out and wasn't particularly impressed, my opinion on Barefaced has sort of been based on this, as well as the slight disbelief that their 1x12 cabs can only be compared to 2x12 from anyone else. However at house level volumes both of these cabs sound very good indeed, so I am looking forward to putting them to the test I'll also be able to AB each of them against a Berg 112, which will be interesting!
5. Gorgeous instrument, but why not return it to G4M? You should have 30 days?
6. I have finally yielded, let's see what all the fuss is about:- Barefaced Super Compact Gen 3 and Midget T Gen 2. I'm hoping that I won't need this full mini stack and the Super Compact will be enough on it's own, but we will see First rehearsal with them on Sunday, first gig at the start of December, lets see how they do!
7. Oops, buggered the picture links up! Fixed!
8. Relisted due to an international sale seemingly falling through. Note: for any deals outside the U.K. payment to be made by PayPal only, fees to be negotiated. I will not accept a bank transfer. Fantastic cab, probably the best looking cab in the market too, if that counts for anything! In great condition, couple of marks on the Tolex here and there but nothing serious. I have tried to show any marks on the tolex I can, very hard to photograph unless the light is shining the right way
9. Amazed this hasn't gone to be honest!
10. I wouldn't buy a bass only to do such significant work to it unless it was very, very cheap. Why not just wait for an early nineties or 2009 onwards Warwick, which have the slimmer neck?
11. If only this was a... [insert a descriptive word that represents the opposite of what is actually for sale]
12. Just bought a cab off Lewis, classic Basschat services meet, nice chap and look forward to putting the cab through its paces!
13. Keen to move this folks Best price online for remaining stock is £749 from Project Music, so this is a pretty good deal with the cover too
14. A couple of folks have asked for a picture of the cover, so here it is
15. Happy Halloween folks! Do me a favor and buy this tonight so I have an excuse to avoid the festivities... No trades on this, by the way.
16. Up for sale I have my very recently acquired Ashdown ABM Neo 210 cab. These are the discontinued Made in Essex models with the excellent custom Sica drivers. Very favorable reviews and rightly so, it's a very loud and powerful cab. I just prefer 12 inch speakers! NEO cabinets are loaded with Custom designed "SICA" NEO Drivers, widely acknowledge as some of the finest lightweight speakers available. NEO cabs also feature a HF horn for additional top end definition. Ten-inch bass speakers are great for genres such as rock and metal. They have a punchy, fierce sound with great versatility Specification Power Handling: 1000w continuous program 500W RMS continuous Speaker Configuration: 2 x 10 + high frequency horn Frequency Response: 25Hz - 20kHz Impedance: 8 Ohms SPL: 98.5dB 1W @ 1m H x W x D (mm): 605 x 465 x 330 Weight (kg): 20kg 44lbs Made in England In good condition and functions perfectly. Looking to get back what I paid, £330. Also comes with a Roqsolid cover. Prefer a meetup to shipping, happy to drive a fair distance to make the sale Reduced to £295 for a quick sale!!! Cheers!
17. Sold, pending payment. I will be update when finalised

20.
Thanks Kev
Enjoy! Plenty of space to fill there
21. I just sold this rather splendid chap one of the best bass preamp pedals available. First time transaction on Basschat, all smooth and dandy. Would absolutely recommend dealing with him in confidence. Thanks again bud, enjoy the Darkglass!
22.
I have two words for you... JUSTIN CHANCELLOR of Tool. Great example of his Wal tone here https://www.youtube....h?v=yj_xjzyAarA
Second biggest reason I bought a Wal. His tones are just incredible, and so much of it is because of that bass. There is nothing like them.
23.
Ha ha, I love these type of threads. The OP was comparing his SM vs his AG500, my response was based on my own experience with the AG vs the Mesa. Then lots of D Class sucks talk, and some NOOO, D Class is good, especially if it is made in Finland and finally (several people) sense that the reason most D Class amps sound feeble in certain conditions is due to the quality of the power supply. Loving it!
You seem to have brought Finnish Class D in all by yourself. It's entertaining to read what goes on in people's heads, for sure!!
