No contact from prospective buyer so this is back up with a Saturday bump!

Here is my mega rare Gibson G3 Bass in natural finish with maple neck and maple body. According to the serial it was made in 1978, it is in excellent condition with minimal fretwear. There are the usual 'honourable marks of time' small dings and scuffing to the scratchplate. The bass has all original Bill Lawrence pickups and hardware including the bridge cover. It comes with its original Gibson case and hang tags! This bass has a very versatile pickup system and can get tones from Jazz warmth to Rick treble. The action is very low, medium weight and well balanced. A beautiful bass and reluctant sale due to having to upgrade my heating system. I have three Grabbers and they are all solid reliable basses. As used by Greenday, Nirvana, Kiss, etc. No trades , sorry can't send abroad. Will post pics soon. The preamp hums on occasion so I suspect the jack output may need changing or resoldering but this is a minor issue. Recently retrung with black nylon rotos. Here is my beautiful Rickenbacker 4000 bass in azureglow (blue in Rick speak). All original with serial number dating it to 1982. The bass even has the bridge pickup cover! It has the rarer 'wavy' Grover USA machineheads and original mute on the bridge. It has great tonal variation for a single pickup bass from aggressive Squire like tones to Precision warmth. Its a rare bass in this finish and has a set neck which is beautifully set up with a low action, very little fret wear. No issues with either trussrod. Superb tone and balance. The bass has very little cosmetic wear with only minor dings to the headstock and grazes to the finish. I love this bass but it really does not fit in with the sound of my band so its not being played. Purchased off here just recently. Pickup only due to the value of this item and the fact there isn't a case with it. Although open to negotiation. No non UK buyers (because I won't ship this) sorry! Very nice Status Groove 5 in excellent condition, no issues great tone. The bass has two J-type pickups and sounds great, very versatile with a nice low B string. The bass is light, well balanced and has a low action. A great 'workhorse' 5 string at a bargain price.
