  1. Quick and easy deal, excellent communication. Enjoy the Yamaha bass Brian!
  2. Sunn Mustang Bass by Fender It’s a late 80’s early 90’s bass with a full scale and small size body. It is very light weight and easy to play with a punch P bass sound. One tuner has been replaced. There are marks where stickers have been placed on the body. It plays well and was used as a back up. I think it’s Korean. I can post in the U.K. for £15. It would be a fun project to mod but works well as is. Buyer cancelled last minute so here it is again. Cheap and cheerful!
  3. A nice solid P bass by Squier in sunburst finish. It is fitted with D’Addario medium gauge nickel strings and a new tone pot fitted. Nut width is just under 42mm. Great Precision bass growl, comfortable weight at around 4.2kgs and easy to play with a low action. I bought this for parts but it is such a good solid bass I gave it some TLC and it’s ready to gig! Some minor marks and dings but nothing serious. Made in Indonesia. Hardware is in great condition. Pickup or can post at cost UK only.
  4. Sale fell through so here is…. Moog Mother 32 Eurorack Modular Synthesiser. Modular eurorack starter set up which includes: Moog Modular case, Behringer power supply, Moog Mother 32, Frequency Central Device and Erica Pico DSP. Also includes patch leads and Mother 32 manual, spare ribbon for power supply, mounting screws and Moog box. This is a really powerful unit, I decided to add the Device as it features an oscillator, envelope and the respected Raging Bull (Moog Taurus clone) filter. This expands the capability of the Moog 32 adding an extra oscillator. The Erica DSP provides an incredible array of effects. The Moog 32 sequencer sounds amazing through it especially the delays. There are also empty spaces to house a few other eurorack units. The system was put together with simplicity and flexibility in mind - I didn’t want to end up falling down the rabbit hole of modular, my concept was to expand the Moog and this really does the trick. It can also be integrated in a MIDI setup via the Moog 32. The costs of all the individual units and case is well over a grand. So my price is a very good deal for someone wanting to start out in modular but with the Moog core sound. It’s easy to get lost in the endless combinations of sound this set up can create. Only selling as I’m raising money for a house move. Any questions please ask. Check out the units online. You could use this with midi bass pedals to create Geddy Lee or Mike Rutherford low notes!
  5. Very nice I think it is the resin body version? I also had one and then a wooden bodied version - sustain for ever, very articulate mid range.
  6. Yes you are right it has more of a Precision feel but it is very comfy to play.
  7. If this were a Fender of the same era and condition it would be five times the asking. It isn’t of course but arguably the quality is better and the weight certainly healthier at 4kgs. It’s a Japanese built Yamaha Super Bass available only on the domestic market at the time and made between 1976 - 1982 (I think though there is conflicting information out there). It is near immaculate and comes with original case. All hardware is original although I suspect the screws of the scratchplate may have been replaced. The bass has had a pro set up and is currently strung with Roto flats. It plays very well and you can get both P and Jazz tones from the pickups. The finish is slightly redder than the mocha or walnut Fender finishes but it’s very nice and you can see the body grain. Construction is superb. I doubt you will find a cleaner example. It is a recent purchase however I have finally had my house purchase completed and need to pay off my solicitor so selling a lot of things before I bond with them. No trades. UK only pickup preferred but I can post at buyer's cost.
  8. I had the Foundation rig and the 18” are very powerful. I had two of them at one point! The reason I got the Jenniings 15” version is because it is much more useable in a modern rig. I’ve used the pair of mine with Markbass and Orange amps. They have a vintage look but are much lighter than the Foundation cabs. The Vox livery looks good too suitably retro!
  9. Markbass mini cmd 121p This is one of those combos that quickly became a classic renowned for punching above its puny size. I bought this in January from Bassdirect brand new for £675. It’s been gigged a handful of times since then and always with PA support. It is in excellent condition. I bought it as it had the earlier preamp as I prefer this to the newer Markbass amps. It’s an Indonesian made amp. Great quality and incredibly loud for its size and weight. 12” Speaker with 500 watts capable power amp. Pickup preferred but I could post for around £30. No trades thanks. I’ve decided to withdraw this as I don’t want the hassle or risk of posting it.
  10. Taken from a new Harley Benton bass this is a nicely made Roswell pickup as new condition . A punchy sound great for a project. Price includes UL postage.
  11. Full set of Squier tuners, ferrules and screws. Taken from a new bass. Price includes UK postage.
  12. I bought two sets of these but having tried one out I prefer a slightly lighter gauge. This is for the unopened remaining set and includes UK postage. Please note price is for the unused set only.

  14. Vintage JEI (Jennings) 15” Eminence loaded bass cab in Vox livery. This cab was used for some 60’s style shows coupled with my ‘64 T60. The cabinet dates from the 1973 and is a Jennings B3 cab. It is in good condition but has been well gigged over the past half century. The driver is a newer 15’’ 200 watt Eminence and is 8 ohms. I added the Vox vintage cloth, piping and Vox badge. I have the original JEI badge and cloth but this is very tatty. This is a nice punchy cab with a vintage vibe. Pickup only. For all those who don’t know JEI was formed by former Vox employee Tom Jennings when he was unceremoniously given his cards when Vox changed management. Jennings was the main man behind all the classic Vox amps of the JMI era. I have two of these but only need the one! https://www.voxac100.org.uk/jennings_b3_bass_speaker_cabinet.htm

  16. This bass was made in 2004 at Fender’s Corona Plant, it features carbon rods in the neck to add strength. The neck on this bass is great to play and very stable with plenty of life in the frets and a working trussrod. The bass has been modded as it was used for a Phil Lynott Thin Lizzy tribute. It has the distinctive black and maple finish and the mirror pickguard. There is a spare pickguard should you wish to look a little less bling! This is a generic pickguard but fits well. The bass has also got an EMG pickup fitted with EMG electrics. It gives a fantastic array of sounds for a single pickup bass. As you can see on the pictures it has been routed at the back to accommodate the 9volt battery, this saves removing the scratchplate when you need to change it. There are scuffs and buckle marks to the rear of the bass, there is a small repaired area at the side of the neck pocket and an extra strap button at some point has been fitted and removed at the rear of the top horn. The neck has no dings at the back and plays superbly. Strings are heavier D’addarios. The bass weighs in at 4.1kgs and is very comfortable and well balanced. It also comes with a Gator case. It is a lovely bass to play and has a distinctive look to it. With the black guard it’s a classic P bass and with the mirror guard instant rocker! Any questions please ask. Pickup preferred but I have a decent box to put the case in if needed. UK only. Only selling as I have a pending house move to pay for. Please look at the pictures this is a gigged bass so does have cosmetic flaws.
  17. If you have benefitted from the recent tax cuts or banker’s bonuses you might want to buy this bargain from those optimistic folk in the their Essex studio… https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/185593630096?hash=item2b363e0d90%3Ag%3AANcAAOSwFg9jL1H8&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAAkJ66PH4ibPG7jZMHLkoccOXh630zczL2rd1nmkW4XaeUDYJ1A5Oul0Yht7DcNzN8lp7JCPVuPbRq8mKZoggSBaSfAXPWAtWgebB%2F%2BC2aPi1rFnU3jBxtgCRtE0W7mGK78ns3siPk4J27Q7r%2BvkxZUFmTA556hQskBJXH4XNKcmkIYB7NdaKTbT3es8oNdTHrnA%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR4j37p7uYA&LH_ItemCondition=3000
  18. I would think it would drop into the cavity but the scratchplate may need modification. There is a thread on Talkbass where someone used a Darkstar also.
  19. It’s 34’’, neck is not like my ‘72 Tele more like a shallow modern P bass
  20. Squier Vintage Modified Telecaster Bass for parts only. I bought this for the pickup to use on my 72 Telebass, it plays really well and is nicely balanced. As you can see the Squier logo has been removed but the serial number remains. Of course it comes minus pickup but with the scratchplate, pots and hardware. You could add a Dimarzio Model one, Darkstar or rout it for another pickup. A good platform for a project. It’s a great bass to play and is a reasonable weight at 4.2kgs. Will be shipped with the neck removed. The bass has had the headstock face revarnished prior to me buying it. The truss rod works as it ought to and the action is nice and low. Thanks for looking. U.K. sale only. Price is posted unless you want to pick it up and then it’s £200.
