Hmm..! It's bloomin' long, that's for sure..!

S'not bad; certainly not as bad as your rather dire warning. To my ears, it falls a bit short of of reaching the escape velocity needed to be entirely rid of the 'formulistic punkish stuff', whilst admitting more than a glimmer of hope for final release from that gravitational pull. I'm not fond of the 'repeat four times then change' method; even less enamoured by the unintelligible vocals (be warned in turn, though, that I'm an 'old school fuddy-duddy finding it hard to pick out the lyrics of many, or even most, stuff these days ; you're certainly not helping by burying the lot in a smother of Fx...). There is a positive side, however, with an interesting take on the sonic landscape. Again, the danger of turning pure gold into mush is always present, and you skim darned close to that fine line, but it's healthy experimentation, and shows promise. The overall effect I took from this pair of tracks was a sentiment that I'd like to see/hear stuff like this played live more than I would be tempted to listen to it at home. There is energy in there; I'd like a bit more quality risk-taking in the initial composition, more daring, more 'out' than that, without going completely bananas (well, just a little bit, then...). Good work, then, encouraging, worth pursuing, so push on, taking greater strides still. There's a wide margin left before I'll really need the seat-belts, so you can up the ante, we're not in the danger zone at all yet. Light the fuse; you've more to give than that, I'm confident. Just my tuppence-worth; hope this helps.

Maybe if used 'neat', but a squirt of the stuff when filling the bottle makes the washers much more efficient than just plain water, and is much less expensive than dedicated washer fluid.

If the advert is a duff one, pass on to a better one, I say (although it's true I'm not a regular User of the Marketplace...). A version of 'Darwin's Law' will take care of those 'selling' with little luck.

And therein lies the error. It's tempting, but it may work better if everyone else turns down. OK, the mix is wrong, bot only because the 'drummer' is at the wrong gig. It highlights their incompetence, and, if that doesn't bother them, it's a sign that it's time for a change. Let him thump away, but on his own. In extreme cases, putting down one's instruments and leaving the beggar to enjoy his evening-long drum solo may get the message across. Worth a try..?

A 'Zappa Plays Zappa' gig at a prestigious Parisian venue. Dweezil Zappa launched into a slightly over-long monologue; interesting enough for the first few minutes, but had run out of 'steam'. A voice very, very close to where I was sitting (OK, it was me ...) chose a moment between phrases to call out loudly 'Shut up and play yer guitar..!'. He did (and very well, too...).

It may be worth expanding on a point raised in a preceding post. It's really not a bad idea to invest in a quality wireless system; there are so many advantages, not least of which is the elimination of the risk of having cables trodden on..! One of the systems that have come up regularly with good, or even excellent, reviews is the Smooth Hound system... I have one (yes, I know; I'm a drummer , so..?), and it fully justifies its reputation. As a bonus, it allows one to really hear what the bass sounds like from the audience point of view. Just sayin'.

Good advice on looking after 'em above, but just in case you need more cables another day, this site is the 'go-to' source for all the cabling needs, at more than reasonable cost, very fast service, top (and I mean top...) quality, run by our very own OBBM, a long-established, highly respected member here... OBBM cables ... What is my relationship..? Only that of a very satisfied repeat customer, for both standard and custom cables, nothing more. Just remember: Cables = OBBM. Hope this helps.

+1 ^^ 'Swing' isn't jazz, and jazz isn't always 'swing'.
