Not sure if you've heard from the supplier but you could use the need for a new set of strings to negotiate. Mention that you're a member hear and that you'll start a "great service from...." thread if that's what you get. Suppliers like it when good things are said about them.

Satin finish neck, light strings, well balanced basses under 9lbs. Love a nicely figured body and neck too. A good balance of aesthetics and usability.

I would also list A-ha's "Take on me" as one of my favourite videos. I'd also include Godley and Creme's "Cry".
