    BCer @bassface2k10 has a similar bass. His has the bullet truss rod (like yours?) adjuster at the body end. His was built at the time EB was taking over MM. He says it's known as the "Transition" model. Any of this ring true for you?

    There are loads of songs which have had the reggae treatment and people don't know the original. UB40 have made a living from it.

    IMO you could do much worse than a Bass Collection Nanyo. You can still find them for silly money (around £100) though this is getting harder now that the secret isn't as closely guarded . Look for a 310/ 320 with pj pups. Lovely fast necks and around 8lbs.

    Yep, I do that too. Tape round the handles in another colour to highlight them.

    I prefer the A frame design. I have a compact Hercules which fits in a bag but I don't trust it as much.
