I emailed them about mine Sunday, they responded yesterday asking for a few details. Replacement in the post today for delivery by the end of the week. Great customer service. 👍🏻👍🏻

Weirdly I noticed the mechanism on my gs414 was slipping yesterday. I have mailed Hercules this morning. I solely use that one at home and noticed the bass was almost on the floor. They also replaced a dual stand 18months ago when it got the dreaded sticky clutch and disintegrated. They were pretty good to be fair. I’ve used their gear for years

I’ve managed to keep the ones I’ve bonded with and moved others on to fund GAS. Tools - yes, treasured - yes, collected - yes! Currently at 5, one up for sale and one sale pending which will fund another.... and so the circle continues.

A nice wide strap may help that. If I can borrow some luggage scales I’ll get it accurately 👍🏻

From an OCD, aesthetic point of view, I think Yamaha missed a trick not matching the headstock. That’s only my opinion and I realise that it makes zero difference to their excellent playability!
