  2. i badly want this but am skint! i used to own one of these early nineties and it was bloody awesome! i paid £1300 for mine at the time! gutted
  3. pray tell what was the scam that you avoided? type bump.
  4. hi, i was going to buy this from previous chat a few months back as and when it came available. unfortunately i am no longer able to lay my hands on the funds now but i am pretty sure you would get a better price than 650 on feebay owing to the rarity and sheer beauty of these basses. its a lot of bass for the money and the design is to die for. really love the alan cringean design you got him to make from this bass. really intrigued as to how the piezo nut sounds? i have never heard of it being done before. bump
  5. looks like some mega hi-fi in the background! lovely looking denon deck and what are the speakers? nice bass by the way too. ad

  7. pleasure to deal with and fast payment. thanks very much. ad
  8. i have just done a little sex wee watching the kate bush babooshka vid! as they say "one in the hand aint as good as one in kates bush!
  9. i got this to coat my fretless finger board but have since sold the bass. its brand new and was the best one i could find and it gives 30 mins curing time to allow for messing about and removing c*** ups. it was £12 from memory so £10 posted. cheers. ad there is enough to do 10 necks at least
  10. as above taken off a brand new ibanez prestige bass, they are really high quality and have a nice weight to them. they were routed into the body by about 6mm but dependent on your neck body height you may well not need to route the body. i cant find a price for them but others range from £10 each for pants ones to £25-30 each for hipshot ones so will start at £40 posted. cheers. ad
  11. thats lovely and seems bloody cheap to me. skint at present unfortunately.
  12. brought from here a couple of months ago but i have sold my head so might as well sell this on. its a fab` sounding cab and puts out much more bass than i expected. In inches it's 18.5 wide by 19 high by 13 deep. 8 ohms and 20kg`s It's loaded with Ashdown's own Sica Neodymium 8"s, which came from Ashdown direct. its spec` at 600 watt and was brought from Nickytwister who changed the drivers in it. i think its worth every penny i payed for it so £125 delivered firm.
  13. totally smooth deal and super fast with payment. would deal with again. top man! cheers and all the best with the amp. ad
  14. cheers yes no fan and got the best graphic eq going. a much copied amp thats for sure. quiet as they come too. no orrible fans
  15. [attachment=71178:P1015169_copy.jpg]SWR studio 220 head in fantastic condition, valve pre-amp stage with solid state power amp. 220 watts RMS in 4 ohms so packs a good punch. its pretty much the same design and layout still used on current models with a 4 band pera eq. two effects loops a balanced out and an adjustable electronic crossover for bi amping which is very handy for adding a power amp to run the bass and use the internal amp for the treble so you can make a monster rig with it. its rack mounted and has been so for its entire life by the looks of it as its spotless. getting hard to find in this condition its a real classic and one of the first designs swr came up with and largely still the same as in todays amps from them. they were discontinued in 1998 so its at least 13 years old but is pretty much spotless condition. these really are belting amps and nice and light at 13.5 pounds. not over fussed about selling it but it doesnt get the use it deserves as i live in a flat and the headphones generally get used. i am officially old and boring!
  16. i have the sr1000 and this is the same bass with a bolt on neck for under half the price. for my taste its the best neck profile i have played they are awesome. a very under rated range of basses. bump
  17. wow, that really is the best looking craftsmanship i have seen on here. very tasteful. stunning
  18. hi icastle, i wasnt pointing any comments at you but agreeing with earlier comment about buying animals. i had to get a previously rescued dog of mine rehomed years ago as i could not keep him in new house and it broke my heart. you did a good thing getting them all taken care of. some would open the door and let your problem walk away. ad
  19. oh and juggling a cat is just sh*te, i would like to meet that prick one night.
  20. the sort of people(for want of a better word) who buys pets from dealers and shops are the sort who generally get bored when they realise that the cute little bundle is now dropping hairs and other things and costs a small fortune to feed and keep healthy and dump for someone else to look after as they find it hard to manage their own person hygiene let alone another animals. i need to draw breath! i personally have always taken rescue animals and clean up after other people when they get bored and love my rosie(big dog) and my wee birds(the last thing that should be in a cage so mine a free to leave it though not out the window). i can see i am starting to table thump so will sign off. glad you got a resolution to your prob. change raspberry to copious amounts of haranguing please now i know its not bothering you icastle. ad
  21. yo dude! yep brand new in packets just no original outer box but i do have spare boxes for postage reasons.
