  1. hello there, any chance you could give some dimensions for the westfield neck speciffically the heel?? got a squire VM body in need of a neck, the pocket measures out at about 62-63mm Cheers!!
  2. Would you post the bass?? and at what cost??? Cheers!!!
  3. I've had my Marcus Miller for around 5/6 years now, bought it new from a shop in Edinburgh for around £700. I agree with kjb the pre amp in to was rubbish ans the pickups were ok!! I converted the bass to straight passive, as i prefer the simplicity of a passive circuit on a bass, replaced it with on of those varitone circuits sold by Rawsound on Ebay and i replaced the pickups with an DiMarzio Ultra Jazz set. Much prefer the sounds i'm geting now and the varitone offers some nice tonal variations at the flick of a switch!!! Plus i like the pickguard, was one of hte features that drew me to the bass in the first place!!

Hello, can I play?? Here's my two............ [attachment=102931:Photo0079.jpg] The Marcus Miller you'll all recognise, has been modified however, upgraded the pickups to DiMarzio Ultra jass set and it's been converted to a passive bass with the addition of a Rawsound Varitone circuit bought off ebay. This bass is the keeper no matter what, plays extremely well and sounds great. [attachment=102934:Photo0078.jpg] [attachment=102935:Photo0077.jpg] The Second bass is a bitas i put together recently consisting of a Squier Vintage Mod body, 2002 MiM neck and tuners, Bartolini jazz set pickups partnered with another Rawsound Varitone circuit and an old stock bridge from an old pbass thing i had a while ago. really happy with this one as i've attemped a few bitsa projects in the past and this is the first one thats worked really well. [attachment=102936:Photo0076.jpg] [attachment=102937:Photo0075.jpg] All in all really very happy with my two. I've had numerous basses of different kinds, brands and manufatures of the years, finally landed on the jazz bass and could'nt be happier Cheers LloydyG10 (apollogies for poor picture quality
