    There’s a button at the back of the pedal where the ports are. Pressing that puts you in alt mode which allows you to access the alt controls and the second three presets on the toggle switch. The three shapes are just place markers instead of using names or numbers.

    And for anyone not in the know, the MC6 got a recent update which allows the expression ports to be used as TRS MIDI ports in any configuration. (Getting TRS MIDI was a big reason that I upgraded to the MC8, which is now less of an issue.)

    Put rounds back on this and it sounds wonderful. I’d totally keep this if it had a blocked/bound neck. Plays way better than the Fenders I’ve had.

    The beta units have shipped to customers and the new desktop editor is up for anyone who wants to play around with the offline Ultrawave editor to see what it’s capable of. I’ve also posted my first patches.

    Never really liked blue basses (despite blue being my favourite colour) but this is changing my mind - looks lovely.

    This is a brand new pedal and these sell for £105 new. I got this direct from Source Audio. Initially I noticed that the treadle would slowly close and when I told them about it they just sent me a replacement pedal as it would have been too expensive for them to have it shipped back and sorted. However, I opened the pedal up today and have reseated the little plastic ring inside that holds the gear in place and that seems to have stopped it from dropping down like it was. It does occasionally move down a couple of degrees but is very minimal (see video - probably looks more than it was as I was hand-holding the camera so was wobbling). Price reflects the above.     Interesting and a very cool name. So basically a phaser/fuzz/octave combo at heart.

    I’m really enjoying the Aclam board and will definitely get a bigger one when I decide which size will work best. I can’t stand Velcro or cable ties so this is great for me. They have just developed some quick-release fasteners too so rearranging is a breeze.

    There are, from what I’ve heard, some ok synth-type sounds to be had in the Stomp but they won’t touch stuff like the C4 and FI.

    Interesting and good to see something with PWM on it which is lacking in many synth pedals. Tuning seemed a bit squiffy and sounded more like V/octave than playing back the exact pitch so wonder what was going on there.
