  1. I’ve listened to the Snarky Puppy set many times but the Trouble Funk one was new to me and I enjoyed it.
  2. Just realised how much part of this track sounds like Jamiroquai were influenced by it.
  3. That grain is lush!
  4. I really liked the orange/white one they did with the Big Al.
  5. Yep. Used Chromes for years on my Sterling. Have GHS precision flats on my Stingray.
  6. Yep, that and the 17.5mm string spacing.
  7. Always wanted to try one of these. They use the Sterling neck profile, which is one of the best necks I’ve ever played (wish I hadn’t sold mine). I love the shape of these. The Oly white one looks lovely.
  8. How is this still here?
  9. That’s odd as you weren’t on the list of followers, which is why I tagged you. I wonder if the original subscriptions are still present in the background as part of the merged parts then, even though they aren’t now visible.
  10. @prowla, @Al Krow, @GisserD, @HazBeen, @carlitos71 a similar thing happened with subscriptions on this thread as happened with the FI v3 one after the topic merge. You’ll need to re-subscribe (if you want to).
  11. Might be a bit trickier - pretty sure that line was done on an FM synth, maybe a DX7.
  12. @bassfan Moog enough for you?
  13. I don’t have a favourite of all time. It’s very good though. I’ve got four on the board (not counting C4 and Spectrum): Microtron IV, Chromatron, Qballs Enigma and MXR BEF.
  14. No one has mention the Noble preamp, which Shaun Hurley describes as a B15 in a box. Though they are spendy at $1100. https://nobleamps.com/preamps/ I believe our residents @dodge_bass and @andybassdoyle use these, perhaps they can chime in.
  15. Are you covering your tracks mr Krow?😆
  16. Yes, you do. The updates are great.
  17. PSA - due to an admin error, subscriptions to this thread got deleted. 18. Fair enough. They do seem like great basses. I was never keen on the look but recently heard some clips that sounded wonderful.
  19. @Gardenerben are you only looking for 4s?
  20. It definitely was a new version - due to some of the features I suggested, the core oscillator code had to be completely rewritten. However, I agree, it might’ve been a good time to addres the hardware dimensions, though I suspect the units were already still around from the first runs.
  21. Really, a shame? The upgrade was huge and has cost users nothing. Yes, there is a bit of confusion but it’s well documented. Can’t help it if folk refuse to read. (I did see one person who sold his original FI to buy a v3, but that’s the only case I’ve heard of. I’m still surprised at the number of people running really old firmware. I’m doing a lot to raise awareness but Panda’s marketing could definitely do with a kick in the pants. If you want to play, I’d say get the FI now (it’s a mature product) and the SA thing is probably a way down the line time wise (I don’t know for sure, and even if I did, I wouldn’t be able to say).
  22. How much did you cut off the A string? Or a better question: how many full winds round the peg are left on the A string?
  23. These are brilliant.
  24. Install the v3.60 editor, create an account on the database website, browse through the available patches.
