  1. Bumping to keep the votes coming.
  2. I’ve just listed one of these for sale.
  3. Don’t think I’ve seen one of these come up anywhere used since launch. Though it’s billed as a “lofi elements” pedal, it excels in plenty of “normal” stuff too: 24db/octave Moog-style ladder filter with self-mod feature; Chorus; Flange; Delay; Reverb; Drive/Distortion; EQ; Compression; Highpass and lowpass filtering (non resonant); Tape saturation. And the other far-out stuff: Glitch; Sample rate reduction; Bit crush; Ring modulator; Vinyl clicks/surface noise; 50/60Hz hum; Bad cable noise; Dropout signal failure. The envelope and LFO can be directed at multiple destinations simultaneously with differing individual depths. As others have attested to, it’s worth the price for the filter alone. Also, this is a new format for SA which gives access to the first 16 presets directly on the panel and a lot more top-panel controls for parameters than any of their previous pedals. This means you can get an extraordinary variety of sounds out of it without ever having to hook it up to the mobile app or desktop editor. However, for those of you who want to go deeper, there’s loads under the hood of you do hook it up. I don’t really need more than one exemplar of this pedal and have some other pedal outgoings I could do with recouping so offering this. It’s in excellent condition and will come with the box and a USB-C cable. This one doesn’t have a power supply but if you need one, I can probably rustle up a spare one. More pictures available upon request. Price includes free UK postage via Royal Mail Special Delivery (fully tracked and insured). I posted some clips in this thread a while ago:
  4. The choruses are way nicer than the ones in Gemini etc. the EQ is pretty powerful too.
  5. I just sold Chris an Ampeg SGT-DI today. All gone smoothly and have just sent it off. Prompt, friendly and clear communication along with swift payment. Many thanks.
  6. Got my Fliptop today - really fast shipping. I’m glad to have one back in the fold.
  7. I think it’s 10000 before they consider it for production. It’s been going up really fast and is at 5879 at the moment and plenty of time left to hit 10k.
  8. They had one Cabzone left yesterday. More stock due at the end of March.
  9. Some further info from Niko (posted on TGP): Since you all have access to the engine names now due to the leaked photo, I might as well go through em all. -Hypersphere - brand new -Shimmers - brand new -Trem Verb - brand new -Reverse - drop-in from Ventris -Lo-Fi - drop-in from Ventris with some tweaks -Swell - reworked (has the same base but some brand new modes) -Helix - drop-in from Nemesis -Kaliedoscope - mostly new, but started as Offspring from Ventris -Echoverb - reworked -Drum Echo - fully re-imagined from Nemesis -Resonant - fully re-imagined from Nemesis -Noise Tape - drop-in from Nemesis with some tweaks So there's more new than old in here. It's not like the Collider which was 100% dropped in from Nemesis and Ventris.
  10. Maybe start with a Source Audio Aftershock to see what flavour(s) of distortion float your boat.
  11. Also, Shift Line offer 10% discount for Talkbass members if you ask.
  12. I hope this happens as I’d love to have their phasers with more on-panel controls. And bi-phase capability would be amazing.
  13. Oh man, I wanted one of these for years. I had an order for a PJ from IR but after nearly four years of being given the runaround, I gave up and had to struggle to get my deposit refunded. A shame as it kind of soured me. I have played one of these and they are great so it’s still very tempting.
  14. Well, perhaps this may happen after all. Niko is one of the SA team and posted this on The Gear Page:
  15. I believe it is samples. I believe that user samples will be possible. Basically means you can tweak a pedal and see what it does before even owning it. (I guess it may also lay the groundwork for potential plugins at a later date.)
  16. Some of you may have seen this and other such cryptic images from Source Audio over the past few months: This was shown to the public at NAMM and Roger has been talking about it on TB and TGP. I quote his post below: The orange "play" button is "SoundCheck". If you don't own a particular SA pedal, or maybe no SA pedal at all, SoundCheck offers a bit-exact means to experience any of our digital pedals in a deeply immersive manner. If you DO own a particular SA pedal, SoundCheck offers a very effective means to browse, tweak, create, and manage presets without needing a pedal, instrument, or amp. We blew lots of minds with SoundCheck at NAMM, and these are folks who have seen it all for many years. Experiencing a pedal and playing with a pedal without actually having the pedal is really exciting!
  17. They do pop up used occasionally.
  18. Not quite. If you look closely, these are all engines not found in Collider. Like Collider, most are drawn from Nemesis and Ventris but there are a couple of brand new algorithms in here.
  19. I may couple it with a Shift Line Cabzone Bass if they ever come back in stock. Also, do you know of this? https://shift-line.com/flex
  20. I’ve still had no official word that I can talk about this but someone has posted from the show: https://www.thegearpage.net/board/index.php?threads/source-audio-prototype-at-namm.2620008/page-4#post-40180070
  21. I’d still like to try the original sometime. Would like to try the 3x again too.
  22. I bought a Cali76 Compact Bass from Jeff on Thursday. It arrived the next day, well packed and in exactly the condition described. Communication was prompt, clear and friendly. I’d have no hesitations in dealing with Jeff again (and very likely I’ll be buying another pedal from him very soon). Many thanks!
