  1. The Panda midiBeam 4Control is now available and works great with the FI. Worth checking out if you haven’t already got an expression/interface solution. Available in the Panda online store here. Quick-start guide here. Full manual here.
  2. I tried exactly that combination at a fellow basschatter’s house when I bought a bass from him and it sounded amazing, both for pure bass guitar and my Future Impact.
  3. Damn, trust me not to log on much today.
  4. @ebenezer, not a Classic but has many of the features thereof.
  5. Bargain for someone.
  6. Wish I could learn to love how these look as they sound amazing. Check out Vincen Garcia laying down the funk on one:
  7. Thanks. I think the single one will cover almost everything I need to test. There’s one function which requires both but I’ll ask one of the other testers to check that feature for me.
  8. Haha. I meant just for testing purposes. Although I’m sure there could be a cool Heath-Robinson-style solution. Someone with art skills needs to do a Heath Robinson pedalboard.
  9. Managed to borrow a single one from a friend so all is good. I can just pull the cable out slightly to use it as the second switch.
  10. That’s stopped my anguish.
  11. I’m not sure if the type matters as the device I’m testing will allow both I think.
  12. Hi all, I'm doing a bit of product testing and realised I don’t have a set of dual footswitches (TRS) to test some of the functions. Is there anyone in the Sheffield area who might be able to loan me one for a week or so? Thanks in anticipation.
  13. Someone is going to be very pleased.
  14. If someone buys my lovely Stingray, I may well jump on this.
  15. Ian bought a Fender case from me. Clear, timely and friendly communication. All sorted in under 24 hours. He paid promptly and arranged to meet my partner for a handover, which all went smoothly. Many thanks.
  16. Got mine today. It’s great but so close to my MXR VBO that it doesn’t make sense for me to keep it, given I won’t use the poly or octave up. I’ve listed it in the marketplace for what I paid (£110) and they seem to be out of stock again.
  17. Brand new. Literally just took delivery of this today. Comes with box and all paperwork. It’s great, but so very close to what I’m already using and I don’t really see myself using the poly mode or octave up so doesn’t bring much more to the table for me. (Though it’s probably slightly better at tracking “problem” notes on bass (such as the C-Eb on the G string) than my MXR and has a slightly more prominent fundamental). I’m still holding out for an Octabvre III as the dry kill switch is more something I’d use (though pricey). Anyway, happy to sell this on for what I paid for it. Apologies for the crap photo - it’s late and dark. I’ll take some in the daylight tomorrow if the pedal hasn’t sold by then.
  18. Actually, it has 128 non-overwritable factory presets too. It’s too few for me as I burn through loads when designing sounds and making incremental saves. I’ve already maxed out two synths’ memories. Unfortunately Sequential doesn’t offer its own librarian software so preset management is still a bit of a pain or requires fairly pricey 3rd-party software.
  19. Not all of them obviously, but the capability is old technology. Take 5 has 128 presets. A bit stingy, but better than nowt.
  20. Analogue synths have had presets since 1978.
