1. Yep thanks mate, it was a decent gig that one. The rig wasn't mine, it was a festival, so it was a shared rig, it was nice enough, but I didn't get much time to find my sound on it, I sounded a bit woolly actually, but I'm sure with some time it'd sound awesome.
2. Stunning....stunning....stunning Sigh, I'd kill for one of these.
3. ....and whether the bass sells or not, it's been a fun thread so far.
4. I'm not known for looking very amiable live, but I'm lovely really. My stage diving days are over I can tell you.
5. Listen to the bass here: https://soundcloud.com/rawsi
6. Guys, it's fine really, bkman42 contacted me to ask if it was ok to advertise the sunburst bass again. Once the bass is sold, it becomes the property of the new owner, and if they decide to move it on straight away that's fine, I don't have a problem with that. Meanwhile..... the black one remains available. I used it a couple of days ago and wondered what I was thinking selling it to be honest, those SD's really sing. 7. I'm still up for a trade for a Fender Jazz or Precision, MIM or H1 or whatever.
8. We ll that all took a dramatic twist? When all's said and done, one sells a bass, the new owner can do what they like with it. I got what I asked for, so I'm happy with the deal, so good luck to all parties! NOW, as far as the black bass, yes, it IS still available, I had an interested cash buyer, but that lead seems to have gone a bit quiet, so I'm not so sure it'll happen. Meanwhile, the bass is still here, and for sale.
9. Ditto. The 80s BBs are fantastic basses, I've had a few, and fancy another, I just wish I had the spare cash.
10. Trade for a Precision anyone?
11. Yes, to confirm..... the sunburst Rob DeLeo model is now sold. So, just the black one left. Hit me up with any offers for it, trade wise, I'm flexible ish.
12. Ok, looks like the sunburst one might be on it's way out... so the black one is still available thus far.
13. Yep, they're belters. I would be interested in a Jazz or a Stingray too.
14. Have a listen to the attached track.
15. WITHDRAWN I have used these two basses extensively over the last 6 months with the band, and recorded with them too. They're awesome basses, they sound and play amazing, but I'm after another Fender Precision. Various pictures can be seen here too: http://www.crisis-rock.co.uk/ The black one is the standard Korean made one, with the SD QP pickups The Sunburst one is also Korean, but is the Robert De Leo model and has duncan designed pickups. Both basses are unaltered. There a few light dings but nothing major. I'd value them both at £350 each, There is no case with either. I'm in Macclesfield, and delivery within reason is possible, post is not out of the question, but I'd rather not, I'd rather meet. They were used on our recent EP, and sounded magnificent. One or both for cash, trade, I'm open to suggestions, but it's a P bass I'm after.
16. We've put our new stuff up on Soundcloud via our website: www.crisis-rock.co.uk The Silence Is Deafening, Let Her Go, Into The Black, The Long Walk.... Have a listen, I'd value your opinions....
17. A question for the tekkies....Do non valve amps need servicing? I have an Ashdown ABM 500H 2X10 combo, an older forerunner of the EVO series. Last night the horn conked out, and it got me thinking, maybe the thing needs servicing (and a new horn obviously), so is this the case? Or shall I just get it repaired and carry on? There are no valves or anything to replace (I assume) so surely it's just a bunch of electrics that don't need to be serviced? Also, does anyone know any good amp repairers in the North West? I've used Dave Lunt in Stockport previously, but the last time I blew the horn on a previous amp he seemed reluctant to get involved, don't know why.
