I'm sure I saw a bit of video of John playing his Status B2 at some point (the reshaped, less "out there" buzzard bass), but I'm buggered if I can find it. Anyone else see it?

Some new pics. There is a spot of slight buckle rash, and as mentioned a few marks on the neck that don't affect playability, but are there! -

Right, as I'm due to be getting a new mockingbird soon (whooo!) the Jazz is up for sale. I'll take £500 for it, plus shipping within the UK.

He's an approved builder, so should be able to knock some up for you. Not sure how busy he is, or what his email is, but he's contactable on finnbass regularly. Great review TheRev - I do find these designs very interesting, its nice to hear about them being used in the real world. Of particular interest is how the sound is consistant around the room - probably my biggest gripe about regular cabs.

There's a nice white mock on us ebay with the hundred piece neck, and a PJ config. I'm tempted, I'd definately prefer that simpler electronics layout to the one on the white mock that's done the rounds (although the switches looked damn cool)... shipping is steep though! Why not let Muya sell in peace? If you're not interested in buying his bass, don't, simple as! He has the right to sell his bass at any price he wants - if you don't want to pay what he is asking, haggle with him via pm, but jumping into into his for sale thread and bringing it off tangent like this is downright rude, IMO. Basschat is a discussion forum, yes, but this is the "for sale" section! It's for selling! At the end of the day, a bass is worth what you are willing to pay for it. If you're not willing to pay the asking price, move on for god's sake.

I never really use this bass, as Jazz pickups are a bit polite for my taste and prefer a slightly chunkier neck. Its a lovely bass, I've fitted it with a hipshot D tuner and still have the original. Besides that its as I got it - there are a few marks on the neck which dont affect playability. No S1 switch, its just the usual passive Fender gubbins. As I've just picked up another BC Rich Mockingbird bass from the US, its now for sale rather than trade. £500 + postage, within the UK. Comes with a battered hard case, missing a latch and covered in stickers it does the job though!
