1.
one example that jumps to mind is tame impala
Thanks for this link loving this band!
2. For sale here we have a lefthand mightymite p-bass neck, maple/rosewood. I recently imported it from the states on a night of drunken debit card shenanigans, and I'v since realised that my j-retro'd jazz is probally the only bass i'll ever need, so the pbass project is OFF. Its brand new, so im looking for £80 posted (all in all i paid around £135 including postage and duty so i think thats fair). The model is mm2906l. Also interested in trades on this, fx pedals, ashbory bass, studio gear, left hand stuff, thai brides, prototype time machines etc.... Collection/viewing welcome, im in southampton. Will post to uk. 3. It's my right to be sceptical of everything, I'm British. while we'r at it, I'd like a mix knob please. and some more flashing lights, and maybe an onboard vending machine serving sparkling beverages.
4.
Elixirs!?! Eight shows a week and i change them every six months or so (actually it has been over a year on occasion... )
coated strings are great if u just like to fingerbang, but if you use a pick much you wil scratch the coating off and that aint nice.
5. the most exciting new feature is that its true bypass, which is kinda lame for a 5th generation product. what i'd really like to see is a user defined harmony mode. wouldnt be that hard to implement
6. 1983 aria pro II sb r150 lefthanded please god
7. still cant see it being any good for drop tuning unless they have dramatically improved the tracking
8. looks nice, wonder what the footswitch will do
9. and he looks so out of place playing with those guys, like some estate agent buying his sunday paper and tossing the tramps a quid. and a bassline
10. JPJ is defo dying his hair. why god why...
11. sure i like them, shame gibson/epiphone never made a lefty....
12.
That covers the strings too - it's quite an extreme measure just so you can't see the writing on top of the pickup
ahh so it does. maybe some hammerite then?
13. i guess if the seller was really sneaky, he could see what the buyers maximum bid was by bidding himself, then say it fell through and do a second chance offer. DISCLAIMER - this is purely speculation and doesent express the actual views of cycrowave or basschat
14.
I always get that iffy feeling when I see strangely high priced things with that statement.
why so?
15. hmm its a cliche but i guess its worth what someone wants to pay, and the leftys are very rare

19. i use one of these, great piece of kit. brilliant for recording into a computer with a dynamic mic like a 58, and of course for making your bass go donk
20. great looking p, jobs a goodun
21. got a phone call from dhl saying my mightymite neck had arrived, and asking how would i like to pay duty. i agreed to do it online, did so 2 days before delivery was scheduled. anyway when they delivered it, they charged my housemate again for the duty in cash..... so i called them up and explained the situation, and i had to go to the depot to collect the overpayment. they werent able to refund to my account. very annoying.... also they have a pretty dumb webstie, not user friendly at all. other than that service was fine
22. oh congrats that was a beaut! yup iv seen that thunder, its exactly the same as mine except mine has the xlr out still got bad gas for an sb, cant find a lefty anywhere:(
