What's the lowest you'd take, mate?
-
I would imagine that for every 100 or so cheeky offers/questions, there will be someone who actually accepts ..... so its just a numbers game for the chancers. I think it's just a case of firm and polite no or just ignore. It is very iritating though. Nothing wrong with making a reasonable offer but I get annoyed with the 'what's the lowest you'll accept, mate?' to which I reply "From you? What I'm listing it for ... mate"

NBD: Fender American Pro ii Dark Night Limited Edition Jazz Bass
CJPJ replied to Old Horse Murphy's topic in Bass Guitars
Congrats on owning a stunning bass - would be happy to have that in my collection and whilst it might not be your sweet-spot I bet it does sound and play beautifully. White p/g would definitely look lush - I'd try that for sure. -
Ha. No, I returned it with the 14 days to the shop. So I guess I didn’t technically sell it - I just I un-bought it!

Funnily enough, I was just watching this!
-
I should add that if there is anyone on this forum that can teach / coach me to play like this then I'd love to have a chat!

This is a great unit - I've only sold as I'm fickle and buy and sell just to try new stuff out. I really liked it and would still be my preference over the HX Stomp / Effects.

I returned my B6 this afternoon as I knew it wasn't going to be a long termer. If anyone who has one wants a BTA bluetooth adapter then I've put mine on Marketplace at a good discount.

I agree. It's too limited though at that price. It should have access to all TCE effects. I've tried the HX Stomp and HX Effects and now the Zoom B6. I am super-fickle and I'm already getting bored of the B6 .... the novelty its wearing off although there's nothing wrong with the pedal. I think I might go back to a good compressor (I was going to say limit myself . . . ) and focus on some technicque and explore effects in more detail when I am better equiped to actually use them effectively! 🙂
-
Nicely put. I think that's why I'm leaning toward the B6 at the moment as it does everything I need in a nice form factor.

The footprint point is interesting. I like the concept of the smaller HX Stomp but in reality I find it very fiddly and hard to access. The Zoom at first seems over-sized but actually its a lovely size and well laid out to get everything you need from it at the tap of the foot (or a swipe of the iPhone if you have one 🙂 )

There must be a reason aside from economics/demographics - they have other software on the website which covers both iOS and Android. Maybe its coming - worth emailing them.

To be fair, I don't understand why manufacturers don't develop software for the major smartphone OS - its not like this is a race between VHS and Betamax, these formats are here to stay for the forseeable. Even car brands are playing catch up.
-
What is a bit a annoying is the lack of specific or even recommended protective carry case. Will look for a Gator Bag or similar that would fit - I’m a bit of a brand slag so would have preferred something bespoke from Zoom specifically for the B6.
